What is Webiny?

An innovative open-source framework has been developed to facilitate the architecture, creation, and deployment of solutions that leverage serverless infrastructure. This self-hosted serverless content management system is equipped with a headless GraphQL API, streamlined asset management, and a no-code builder ideal for crafting static pages and forms. It promises both scalability and cost-effectiveness, allowing your projects to expand seamlessly as requirements evolve. With integrated prerendering capabilities, your web pages can be easily indexed by search engines, significantly boosting their visibility. Moreover, the system supports comprehensive management of digital assets, featuring functions to resize and deliver images in multiple resolutions. Flexibility plays a crucial role, as users can adapt and enhance any aspect of the framework through custom plugins and tailored business logic. In addition, there are numerous built-in performance optimizations that ensure your websites maintain speed and can effectively handle rising traffic demands. This rich array of features empowers users to create not only robust but also high-performing web solutions that stand out in today's competitive online landscape. Ultimately, this framework offers a powerful toolset for developers looking to build next-generation web applications.

What is Spot Ocean?

Spot Ocean allows users to take full advantage of Kubernetes, minimizing worries related to infrastructure management and providing better visibility into cluster operations, all while significantly reducing costs. An essential question arises regarding how to effectively manage containers without the operational demands of overseeing the associated virtual machines, all while taking advantage of the cost-saving opportunities presented by Spot Instances and multi-cloud approaches. To tackle this issue, Spot Ocean functions within a "Serverless" model, skillfully managing containers through an abstraction layer over virtual machines, which enables the deployment of Kubernetes clusters without the complications of VM oversight. Additionally, Ocean employs a variety of compute purchasing methods, including Reserved and Spot instance pricing, and can smoothly switch to On-Demand instances when necessary, resulting in an impressive 80% decrease in infrastructure costs. As a Serverless Compute Engine, Spot Ocean simplifies the tasks related to provisioning, auto-scaling, and managing worker nodes in Kubernetes clusters, empowering developers to concentrate on application development rather than infrastructure management. This cutting-edge approach not only boosts operational efficiency but also allows organizations to refine their cloud expenditure while ensuring strong performance and scalability, leading to a more agile and cost-effective development environment.
