What is Zilla Security?

Zilla provides security teams with the essential visibility and automation needed to effectively manage the security and compliance of cloud-based applications. By leveraging Zilla, organizations can ensure that their application security settings are correct, permissions are appropriate, and that API integrations are protected from potential data breaches. As the cloud landscape expands, so does the complexity of data interactions, making automated access reviews crucial for confirming that users and API integrations have the correct level of access. The traditional reliance on cumbersome spreadsheets or complex identity governance systems that require expensive consulting services is becoming increasingly obsolete. With the help of automated collectors, permission data can be effortlessly aggregated from all cloud services and on-premises platforms, simplifying the compliance process significantly. This method not only bolsters security measures but also conserves precious time and resources for security teams, allowing them to focus on more strategic initiatives. Overall, Zilla paves the way for a more streamlined and secure approach to cloud security management.

What is Opal Security?

Opal Security is an identity governance platform that helps organizations manage and enforce access decisions across human and non-human identities. The platform is designed to govern employees, contractors, AI agents, copilots, service accounts, applications, and infrastructure from a unified control layer. Opal evaluates access requests against policy and risk signals to help organizations enforce least privilege and reduce unnecessary standing access. Its Paladin AI engine can review requests, make or recommend decisions, explain the reasoning behind those decisions, and escalate uncertain cases to human reviewers. Just-in-time access enables privileged permissions to be granted for a limited period and then revoked automatically once the work is complete. AI-assisted access reviews analyze individual entitlements and available evidence to help reviewers determine whether permissions should be maintained or removed. Opal also extends governance to AI agents and autonomous systems by controlling what those identities can view, access, and execute. The platform maintains searchable audit records of access changes and administrative actions so organizations can trace who or what received access, when it changed, and how the decision was made. Audit data can be exported to external systems such as SIEM platforms or Amazon S3 to support compliance and security operations. Opal can run as a hosted service or be deployed in customer-controlled environments including virtual machines and Kubernetes, supporting organizations with strict infrastructure and regulatory requirements. Enterprise security features include SOC 2 Type 2 certification, annual penetration testing, monthly vulnerability scanning, encryption in transit and at rest, US and EU hosting options, and support for GDPR and CCPA requirements.
