What is blume?

Blume functions as a specialized desktop sidecar designed for AI coding agents, allowing developers to track each agent's activities, ensure coherent project context, and detect potential drift before it affects the codebase. It works harmoniously with various tools, such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, omp, and Pi, bringing together agent activities, hidden files, skills, hooks, rules, and provider usage into one comprehensive interface. The Agents view offers valuable insights into the operational status of each coding agent, showing whether they are active, have completed their jobs, or are awaiting approval, while the Setup section discloses the instructions and configuration files that guide agent operations. Additionally, usage monitoring provides developers with the ability to track their remaining plan limits and token consumption across multiple providers like Claude, Codex, and Cursor, effectively reducing the likelihood of unforeseen interruptions. Blume also securely archives conversation history on the device, allowing users to review rules, skills, and hooks locally. Its Improve workflow is proactive in pinpointing persistent issues within conversations, categorizing related concerns, and proposing actionable enhancements, which can involve the introduction of new rules or the development of reusable skills, ultimately leading to a more refined coding experience. Moreover, this ongoing feedback mechanism encourages a dynamic development process, empowering teams to continuously adjust and enhance their workflows to meet evolving needs. In this way, Blume not only streamlines coding practices but also fosters collaboration among team members as they work towards common goals.

What is VibeiDE?

VibeiDE is a specialized desktop environment crafted for developers overseeing multiple AI coding agents across different projects. This application facilitates the use of installed command-line tools like Codex, Claude Code, and OpenCode, efficiently managing tasks within project queues while complying with the specific limits imposed by each provider regarding parallel operations, as well as maintaining histories and offering real-time activity displays. Each task can draw upon a separate Git worktree if required, and completed tasks are compiled into a review queue that highlights results, differences, and associated Git actions. The planning feature empowers one agent to devise a strategy for another agent to evaluate before putting it into action. Furthermore, the app offers insights into usage statistics as reported by providers, along with their respective reset times. VibeiDE seamlessly integrates with the developer’s current provider accounts, ensuring that subscriptions, model fees, and provider constraints remain independent of one another. Available on macOS and Windows, a Linux version is currently in beta, making it especially beneficial for developers balancing numerous coding projects and repository management tasks. By serving as a comprehensive tool, it not only streamlines workflows but also significantly boosts productivity for professionals in the software development arena, ultimately fostering a more organized and efficient coding environment.
