What is miniZ?

miniZ is an efficient and user-friendly miner optimized for the Equihash algorithm. Although not tested on every GPU model, it is expected to work well with GPUs featuring Kepler, Maxwell, Pascal, and Turing architectures. To keep users informed, the console window provides critical performance data including mining speed and GPU temperature. A header will be displayed at the beginning, outlining the command line parameters for user convenience. While miniZ alerts users to common issues, it is still prudent to verify all settings to ensure they are correct. The mining fee is set at 2% of the total mining time, and if your pool share exceeds 98%, the application will transition to the fee pool. On the other hand, should the fee pool share go beyond 2%, the miner is likely to revert back to your original pool. At first glance, the percentage allocations might appear disproportionate; however, this is merely indicative of the short initial running period, such as 10 seconds, which accounts for roughly 8% of a 2-minute mining session. Ultimately, miniZ strives to deliver an intuitive mining experience while simultaneously providing valuable insights into performance metrics, enhancing user engagement and understanding of mining operations.

What is Pascal?

Pascal is acknowledged as both a procedural and imperative language, offering a clear and efficient method for developers aiming to build applications through structured programming practices. Free Pascal acts as a versatile, established, and open-source compiler that supports a broad spectrum of processor architectures, including Intel x86 (both 16 and 32-bit), AMD64/x86-64, PowerPC, SPARC, ARM, AArch64, and many others. It is designed to work seamlessly across various operating systems, such as multiple versions of Windows, Linux, Mac OS X/iOS, FreeBSD, DOS, and even gaming platforms like Nintendo GBA/DS/Wii. Additionally, the development version embraces upcoming architectures like RISC-V and Xtensa. To expand its functionality, the Free Pascal team created a utility known as pas2js, enabling the conversion of Pascal code into JavaScript, which broadens its utility in web development. This capability positions Free Pascal as not just a robust option for conventional software creation but also as a significant player in the landscape of contemporary programming frameworks. With ongoing updates and community support, Free Pascal continues to evolve, ensuring it meets the demands of future programming challenges.
