Users are advised to frequently access their secure NHS email accounts, as NHSmail is specifically designed for the safe exchange of sensitive data. Importantly, any data linked to accounts that are classified as inactive will be stored for no longer than 180 days, providing users with a limited opportunity to reactivate their accounts if needed.
