    Easy yet everything you need and more

    Summary

    Our goal was to bring together our community for education and share knowledge about the industry. This was predominantly done as presentations and panel discussion. The live chat, along with polls and Q&A allowed us to engage our audience during these sessions. Given that our audience is busy professions, the automatic recording and playback built into the platform was great for those who missed live sessions.

    Networking is also a big piece for us, we were a bit unsure how well it would work in the virtual environment but it worked out great. We got good feedback from attendees on the speed networking, but the ability for attendees to book meetings with each other and with our exhibitors directly on the platform was huge.

    Positive

    We evaluated dozens (literally dozens) of platforms for our CISO event. Given that we are in the security space, we take data privacy very seriously. Of everyone we chatted with, Accelevents gave us the greatest level of comfort around data privacy and security.

    Negative

    The image upload process while setting up the event was annoying because we had to size the images before uploading them. The support team said that they are working to replace the upload process later this month tho so I’m excited for that enhancement before our next event.

    The overall experience was very good. I actually have recommended your platform to other Chapters across the country, Colorado is using it for their event; so is Wisconsin and New Hampshire … we will probably have to be virtual again next year, and I am voting to use your platform again.

    Positive

    It was user friendly, the support staff was very helpful and explained everything as asked. We had several meetings with support staff to ask questions about our marketing. Having an event with speakers and be able to offer our sponsors the virtual expo experience really gave us the opportunity to give our sponsors what they were hoping for in client contact. The gamification aspect was great.

    Negative

    There were some times when the live feed would stop while the program reset and that delayed some of the presentations since it was a live event. We used gamification, it would be nice if we could keep the employees that check in with the Expo booths off the leader board. We needed more time to explain it to our users.

    The team was super helpful and didn't even mind when I messaged them at 2am :p, all in all i would recommend them.

    We were able to move over to Accelevents 2 weeks before our in person event was supposed to take place.

    Negative

    We originally were looking for a 3d option but no one else could turn this around as fast as Accelevents. So it ended up being no problem.

    Def an easy overall experience that I am going to use for my July event and ask these guys to demo the platform for the rest of my team for their events as well. 11/10 would use again!!!

    Accelevents was super easy to use and helped us quickly transition to a virtual event last minute instead of having to postpone it like everyone else is doing! My boss was so happy and I had a weight off my shoulders :)

    Negative

    They don't support IE & I understand why, but I had 2 participants who had trouble at first. As soon as I suggested they try Chrome they were good to go and had no further issues.

    The only solution to COVID-19

    We were able to transition our annual conference into a virtual event within two weeks. We actually had a higher attendee turn out and our audience was thrilled with the networking and egagement tools. We are even keeping the content available as a content hub going foward!

    We had to transition our annual conference to a virtual event as a result of COVID-19. This was our first time hosting a virtual event yet everything went perfect. Even tho the software is super easy to use, I still had a bunch of logistics questions for the customer support team. Thank you Chloe & Andrew from Accelevents!

    More training videos would be great but I'm sure they are working on that with everyone transitioning to virtual events. They added a few new videos just during the time it took me to set up.

    Accelevents Saved Our Association

    To summarize the narrative above:
    1. Our conference represents a huge chunk our annual income.
    2. Covid wrecked our conference.
    3. Accelevents save us and therefore our association (The Ohio Council for Home Care and Hospice).
    4. The software works well and the staff at Accelevents were always ready to help me.

    Imagine having a wonderful cruise planned. Tickets are bought, the boat is stocked, and you leave the port with the sun shining overhead and people waving from the dock.
    Then, fifteen minutes after you leave you float right into a hurricane and your boat, along with all of your hopes, sink into the dark water.
    That was the story of our Association, the Ohio Council for Home Care and Hospice. We had a lot of high hopes for the year, especially for our annual conference and we hit the Covid hurricane.
    On this distance though, we saw a ship that came to draw us out of the water and that ship was Accelevents.
    Accelevents saved our conference and in turn saved our lives at the OCHCH.
    The software is everything it should be. Easy to set up, easy to use, clean looking and yet attractive. Not only we were saved, we were saved by the Carnival Cruise boat.
    We have over 300 people attending our conference. From the keynote speakers to exhibitors and all the way to the attendees and our staff we have thoroughly enjoyed being "rescued" by Accelevents.

    Negative

    From time to time there was a very minor glitch that was remedied by logging out and logging back on or telling people to switch to Chrome browser. They built a really solid system.
