    Summary

    Overall, the Partnora procurement team moved almost all procurement activities from Excel, Word, Email, etc.
    However, we decided not to use the Contract Management module of Acquirell because it does not meet our requirements in terms of working with contracts.

    Positive

    Acquirell allows us to manage the POs and conduct RFI, RFQ, and RFP events.
    We can handle our requisitions in electronic form in one system just by attaching line items (requirements).
    Easy to communicate with vendors and within a team.
    The communication is recorded.
    Approval routes configuration in Acquirell helps us to manage complex approval workflow.

    Negative

    It is not possible to edit the text of the contracts just like in MS Word.
    Accounts Payable is out of scope.
    The Supplier Management module is "just okay".

    Summary

    Overall Acquirell allows us to automate our business processes: RFPs, PO management, working with contracts, etc.
    Some things in Acquirell do not fit the business processes of ContracTree. For example, Requisitioning module is not so suitable for ContracTree. However, the team of Acquirell works towards improving the product.

    Positive

    1. We can run RFPs with ease through the Sourcing module in Acquirell
    2. All critical tools for us like POs, Contracts, Vendor Database, and eSourcing are in one place
    3. We can sign a contract right after completing RFP
    4. We can run prequalification prior to main sourcing events

    Negative

    1. Acquirell is designed more for the procurement of physical products rather than services. We had to play with evaluation criteria to tailor the RFPs to the procurement of services
    2. No invoicing, we have to attach the files
    3. Requisitioning is not convenient

    Acquirell: Sourcing and Procurement

    Summary

    It is a nice tool if you just need to automate your PO processing and some basic sourcing activities without spending sufficient resources.
    It allowed us to digitize our RFQ and RFP events, and now we consider to utilize reverse auctions which we never used before.

    Positive

    1. Intuitive and convenient interface without dozens of confusing workspaces
    2. The robust sourcing module. It is possible to run instant sourcing events (e.g. RFQ, RFP) just after a couple of hours of learning
    3. It enables me to easily collect purchasing requirements from employees and quickly send POs to the suppliers in one system
    4. Flexible approval routes tool
    5. Affordable price

    Negative

    1. The lack of default integrations. It is a matter of discussion. It was essential for us to integrate Acquirell with our QuickBooks. I had to spend my time discussing all integration details with their team.

    2. The evaluation criteria in the sourcing module are a bit confusing. I spent around a day to understand how this tool works. Luckily, it is possible to run sourcing events by applying only price criteria without configuring tens of other criteria
