Fragile Form Design Resulted in Signficant Lost Revenue

The lost revenue would have covered the costs of a competitor like Hub Spot. We bought ActiveCampaign to increase sales, not lose sales. We had hoped that Customer Service would help (provide some credits, but they refused to do so because they insisted that the platform was functioning as designed). This is why I call it a fragile design - be careful with ActiveCampaign.
PositiveIt does combine CRM with email automations and workflows. This worked well for 2+ years and was the main reason we switched from Insightly and Mailchimp so we could do everything in one solution.
NegativeDue to a weak product design, the online web forms are extremely fragile and resulted in significant lost sales revenue. Essentially, we have been using ActiveCampaign's web form to collect high quality leads from our website and segmented by the type of inquiry. We had 3 basic options for web visitors to select and we simply wanted to modify the wording for one of the options. However, this resulted in breaking the automation so we were never notified when customers were asking for trials (super important). There was no warning that we were breaking the automation, nor is there any documentation from AC that what we did would break the automation. We didn't realize what had happened for over six months, but by this point the damage had been done. Customer Support did nothing to help us.
