    Quick setup intuitive interface

    Date: Jan 21 2023
    Summary

It is helping enormously to find or diagnose errors and network problems, it also works as a network inventory tool by having a map of the entire network, it helps us identify devices, hubs, among others that are obsolete or that need to be updated, Our network is a bit large therefore having a tool with this helps us to carry out our work efficiently and avoid wasting time.

    Positive

It allows us to identify what is happening in a visual way, detect bottlenecks, network conflicts, Bandwidth Monitoring and more, the mapping shows the structure of our network, it has a very complete monitoring screen with graphics and alert system, it shows granular data and it allows us to configure alerts that are triggered when incidents occur notifying the technical team, we can also have remote access to the devices, the integration with applications such as Help Desk and LiveAgent has been very beneficial for us.

    Negative

They should increase the limit of devices that can be accessed remotely, add integration with popular antivirus.

Highly flexible and accessible system for everyone

    Date: Jan 21 2023
    Summary

By implementing NetCrunch, we understood that we did not have to complicate ourselves with things that have feasible solutions, such as the one that this tool can provide us, since it strategically investigates each point that we needed to develop and improve, making it easy to integrate and implement, thus making our work much easier. More pleasant. Its impact during the development of our integration into this new work system had a favorable impact and has always brought positive things for our work development.

    Positive

One of my favorite things is that it works quite comfortably, with a simple interface to manage and control. It allows me to be on various devices and networks without any kind of limitations, since it is quite flexible when it comes to access. In the same way, it does all the tasks, since it not only provides the outbound channel for the supervision of the devices, but also during the process it collects data and with this the creation of reports that allow us to make decisions and thus base a solution. It is quite accurate and allows detecting any failure or error during the connection, such as the equal distribution of the network connection of all our devices in the company.

    Negative

We like to have constant updates since this is an open page to grow and develop the platform to the next level, but these updates have been difficult for us, since it tells me that this happens we have to go trained and orient ourselves in the changes that they locate, since that the dynamics can change a bit and with this the way we work, having updates but that they are large makes it easier for us to adapt to changes.

Great tracking system and viewer of networks and devices

    Date: Jan 23 2023
    Summary

Workflow verification along with overall system performance are some of the most commonly used features in this organization today. It is indicated for any company, large or small.
Ideal for managing the performance of the entire system both from the progress of the networks and from the service desk and so on.

    Positive

It offers a notification service through email, this for already configured and personalized alerts, visualization of the use of bandwidth with control by device and different IP, its configuration is also established automatically when it is required to manage more than 100 computers As is our case, IT verification is at the highest level.

    Negative

The Webhooks do not work properly at any time, this would be the only visible problem that we have been able to find in all this time. Some improvements are required to be able to give a 100% positive opinion.

    AdRem NetCrunch network monitoring

    Date: Dec 01 2022
    Summary

Overall it is relative easy to get going with NetCrunch compared to some Linux based competitors. You don't need extensive modifying of configuration skills to get going. NetCrunch is all GUI based and the GUI is on par with modern standards.

You can use individual logins so every admin can monitor the devices/services that he/she is admin for and the alerting works great if you use the client passively.

We are using NetCrunch for over 2 years now and this tool is perfect for our use case.

    Positive

It is easy to add new devices.
    Good looking dashboards.
some good standard dashboards to get started.
Dashboards are adjustable to individual needs.
You can configure alerts per device group or individual devices.

    Negative

It can look a bit overwhelming when you first start.
Some features need an addon license.

    A solid app

    Date: Dec 01 2022
    Summary

The install is straight forward. The configuration is many, meaning it can be tedious, however it isn't hard. If you take the time, you get a great picture of your network, along with event notifications. I personally like how I can create my own 'map' of my infrastructure based on our internal layout. Highly recommend the product!

    Positive

Reliable app; specific network mappings to individual liking; great reporting on events, and great price for what i need.

    Negative

A bit tedious in configuring monitoring; need to pay attention when setting up / creating 'maps'

Good product, could use some tweaks

    Date: Dec 01 2022
    Summary

Mostly positive, but the small bugs drive you mad. There are better monitoring solutions, but the price of them is 10x of NetCrunch.

    Positive

It's pretty easy to use, and it's easy to make changes that affect multiple devices at once, rather than doing them one at a time.

    Negative

There are always, always bugs. Even when they release a new version to fix previous bugs, they introduce new ones. I think their target audience is more small business, not so much enterprise.

    Nice product!

    Date: Dec 01 2022
    Summary

We will definitely be moving from a competing product to this solution. I feel the support and presales are also far nicer than other competing products. It just feels like a smaller more personal company to deal with.

    Positive

Easy to install and get up and running and less resource intensive than the "other" monitoring product. It's also far easier to license.

    Negative

Maybe lacking in some templates for Exchange 2019 etc.

    Trial NetCrunch Review

    Date: Dec 02 2022
    Summary

I tried the free trial using my computer as a test platform to see what its benefits were. I monitored my email (security issues), my files (on PC), online work and Zoom. This was only a small trial test.

    Positive

I liked the fact that I did not need another person or help desk to install and operate the software. I also liked that it was customizable.

    Negative

Did not find anything that I did not like during the limited trial period.

    Positive

We are using NetCrunch for monitoring some specific Windows services and even restarting them when they fail, which is a very useful feature for us.
