    Summary

    It's okay for basic design work with for small or midsize design/engineering work. Make sure you have your backup system up to date and always running.

    Positive

    Easy to learn.
    Basic modeling is okay. Surface modeling is included but not worthy to touch.
    Basic assemblies is okay. Complex modeling (More than 300 parts) will slow down your system and crashes are to expect.

    Negative

    Support denies bugs and will first blame the user.
    1.400 Euro instead of the "one time price of 169 USD" stated on this website.
    Outdated Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and for that reason not according the ISO standard.
    Hidden bugs. For example (may 2021) when assigning materials ones from your own library and then again from the Alibre library, your whole part naming in your assembly will be corrupt. And yes, support denies and is not helping here.
