    SQL heavy and not intuiive

    Date: Sep 13 2021
    Summary

Microsoft Azure synapse is very similar to Snowflake but not as agile or open. There is still a reliance on sql skills.

    Positive

It feels familiar because we use a lot of Azure services and is good for data storage and for data warehousing.

    Negative

Limited functionality in terms of prep and blend and a reliance on sql coding.
