Claude Duet is a proactive AI assistant developed by Anthropic to automate personal productivity tasks, coordinate professional responsibilities, and complete multistep assignments across connected applications. The platform is powered by Claude Opus 5.5 and operates through a dedicated cloud computer that enables autonomous interaction with external services. Unlike traditional conversational assistants that primarily respond to user prompts, Claude Duet can proactively identify important developments and deliver personalized updates when attention or decisions are required. Its morning briefing functionality reviews relevant emails, calendar events, ongoing projects, and other connected information to summarize priorities and outstanding tasks.
