What is Grok Bot?
Grok Bot is an AI teammate platform from xAI that helps users delegate operational work to bots that can act across apps, websites, tools, and routines. Instead of functioning only as a chat assistant, Grok Bot is designed to take real projects from start to finish and come back when user approval is needed. Bots can sign in to tools, use software like a person would, and work across desktop, mobile, and a persistent cloud computer. Users can create different bots for different responsibilities, such as sales outbound, talent scouting, paid media, expense management, product performance, bug reproduction, account health, and chief-of-staff tasks. A sales outbound bot, for example, can research accounts, score contacts using signals, draft emails and LinkedIn messages in the user’s voice, and hold messages for approval before sending. Grok Bot can learn workflows by watching a user complete a task once, then saving the process as a routine that can run again later. Bots can also work in parallel, collaborate in shared threads, and pass tasks between each other when a workflow requires more than one role. The platform supports scheduled routines so bots can continue working 24/7 across repeatable processes. Each user’s bots share one persistent cloud computer with shared files, browser sessions, and logins, allowing context to carry across work. Grok Bot is available across macOS, Windows, iOS, Linux, and other supported environments, with pricing options that include Cursor Ultra and Cursor Premium Teams. By combining agentic execution, tool access, persistent context, workflow learning, scheduled routines, multi-bot collaboration, and human approval, Grok Bot helps individuals and teams automate meaningful work across their stack.

Grok Bot review
Date: Aug 11 2026SummaryGrok Bot is one of the more serious attempts at turning AI into actual always-on teammates instead of chat windows. If it can reliably finish work across real tools while keeping users in control, it could become a major productivity layer for teams that live in SaaS apps all day.
PositiveGrok Bot feels way more ambitious than a normal AI assistant. The big idea is that you can hand work to a bot like a teammate, and it can use apps, websites, inboxes, CRMs, support tools, and dashboards on its own computer.
I like that it can run multiple bots in parallel. One bot can handle research, another can work on follow-ups, another can manage ops, and they can pass context between each other instead of making you copy everything around.
The routine learning is also a huge plus. Being able to show a bot how a workflow is done once, then have it repeat that process later, makes this feel more like real automation than just prompting.NegativeIt is also still in beta, so I would not trust it blindly with customer data, payments, production systems, or high-stakes decisions. The concept is powerful, but reliability and oversight matter a lot here.
