It's not always easy to find a specific field; there's a slight learning curve when it comes to creating queries. I wish I could extract more historical data than current data; setting it up in Excel can be tricky the first time.

When a company is not found via the initial search, it is very difficult to find that company using their address.

There is so much information provided in the reports. And so many options in tracking customers from saving snapshots to adding to your portfolio. I like that they carry over from year to year.

I like the D&B Dashboard that makes it easy to see changes in the Paydex, Failure Score, and Delinquency Score on the very first page. It's a very nice visual to detect any significant negative change for the top customers you are tracking.

The Risk Distribution filters includes subsidiaries of our own company that would not have that much activity wo skews the graphics. It would be nice to have a way to exclude intercompany entities.

D&B is a great snapshot of a company's health and background- I do not suggest it be used as the ONLY determination for financing a company but it is a great pre-cursor to get some info on a company you may be considering offering financing to or a company you plan to work with.

Shows you all the info about a business including any SOS listings, connected companies, and accounts they have that have been reported. Also shows UCC liens that company has had.

The payment history is not on loans done with banks but instead is payment history for accounts they hold with other vendors- this is not always an accurate view of a companies ability to pay on time, and is not always an accurate view of an amount that company should be approved for. I wish it would show loans they have and I wish the UCC section was completely accurate- it does show most of their UCC filings but there are times when UCC liens are not on D&B

Overall I would recommend this product. Now that I have a direct contact the process is pretty standard. We find the financial reports to be accurate.

The product is straightforward and easy to use. It provides all of the necessary information needed to make a decision regarding accepting a new customer and their credit limit.

It was fairly challenging to get a straightforward answer regarding pricing. We don't use the product as often as others and did not want to pay thousands of dollars for running 10 reports a year. Eventually, we were able to resolve this after multiple meetings.

Overall I've used this product at multiple companies in my role as an underwriter. It is very helpful in reaching a decision and has brought key risks to my attention.

If you're mainly researching smaller, newer companies, it can be be pretty sparse.

Overall experience is excellent. We use D&B to determine new clients credit worthiness and credit limits amount, and it has worked out great in terms of extending the right amount of credit.

D&B reports are deep and full of insight to a company's credit status. The evaluations/metric used are relevant and meaningful

This is a great tool for companies to use as a risk analysis for their vendors or suppliers. It is extremely helpful.

The ease of use, and the ability to check in on our suppliers. It is also a great tool to vet new suppliers.

I do not like that once you run a report if you accidentally back out of it you are charged to run it again. It should remain available for at least 24 hours.

We use this tool as part of our sales process for supplying capital equipment. We decide on payment terms and whether or not to even attempt to do business with certain companies based on this data. Forewarned is forearmed.

The interface is clear and easy to navigate. The important variables you need about a company are easy to spot amongst a plethora of information. The use of colour in the reports makes spotting any issues easier than ploughing through the info and making your own decisions.

Logging in and getting to the main pages could be a bit quicker and easier. Finding a specific company quickly and easily is also quite hard. That said, it's all very achievable and quite a complicated process so you would expect to have to do a bit of digging to get to the gold!

I like how I can easily search by name, DUNS # or an advanced search by phone number and the results are quickly available and sorted for review. The information provided is robust and provides timely payment summary, rating and legal events (if any),

Outdated information and data quality are two main concerns I have.

Their reputation has alone made us a member for a lot of years. I would like to see some major upgrades in the format and readability of the reports.

Reliable credit scores: I reference the paydex score daily
Risk Management Tools: payment history and financial stability is what we are looking for in determining if they will become a member

Data Gaps for smaller contractors, start-ups businesses that make it difficult to determine their eligibility.

Since I started using it, it has done a great job providing accuracy and data processing power, and it is efficient and useful for our finance team.

I like the advanced predictive model for its analytical features, and I also love the speed of the reports because it allows me to generate complex reports in minutes.

The interface needs improvements, its not very intuitive. Thats my only complaints.
