Overall I am a satisfied customer. I have not used a lot of other similar tools to compare it to. Maybe that is because I did not have to as this products gets the job done for me.

Ease of use. Ease of updating. I have never used support so I cannot comment as to how good the support is.

The search UI is a little weird and I think it could be a little better but I am not a UI person.

Great tool. I would advise everybody to try it out. Make it easier for yourself and get the professional version

I've use DbVisualizer for over 12 years now. I worked with others on Jobs but given the chance i install DbVisualizer

The window management could be more flexible.

Overall, I really like DbVisualizer. It allows me to perform my job easily and efficiently, and it’s one of the few SQL tools that is truly Mac-friendly.

Super clean design, with ability to connect to multiple databases at the same time, and it runs on Mac!

there are two things that I would like to see:
1. cross platform queries
2. ability to do simple manipulation of the result sets, such as sum, avg, pivot, without sending the output to excel

I use DBVis to connect to SQL Server, MySQL, and Postgres daily. It meets every need and does it simply. I have recommended it to numerous people and will continue to do so in the future.

I've used DbVisualizer to access data for over 10 years. It makes doing my job so easy that I'd hate to have to work without it.

I can duplicate rows, edit them and when I am sure of the work done, save them to db, when production, I can highlight the danger of doing the operation by coloring the connection to db and make it mandatory to ask for confirmation of changes.

Searching for text in SQL scripts is sometimes a bit tedious, but otherwise I have nothing to declare.

I have been using this application for years. The latest update is very usable and feature rich. It is very simple to setup and get going.

There really isn't anything I have found yet that I don't like. I would like to see a AI able to help me build more complicated queries.

The java portability have a poor user interface.

Overall my experience with DbVisualizer has been excellent. I use the product daily and what started as a tool for a couple of developers has progressed into a tool we're using across the business in multiple departments with multiple users.

In my experience using the product, I have no Cons to call out with the product. I am yet to find a bug in a release version and on the times I've needed support, I have had a response within 24 hours.

I've been using DbVisualizer since 2008 at work first. When work switched to a different DB IDE which was much inferior, I opted to pay for DbV myself as it makes life much easier for me for my work and personal development.

Over the years I've had to reach out to support about 5 times. Support has always been very prompt and fulsome in their responses and have helped me get to a resolution quickly.

Every now and then the app seizes up and I've no choice but to force quit it. Unsure if this is a JDK issue.

Love this product, have used it since the early 2000's, mostly with postgresql, mysql, oracle. The free version is always available, but the licensed version has many useful additions.

We have used DBVisualizer for 8 years as our DB development and support tool. We have achieved DB migrations with ease that failed when using the DB specific tool. Highly recommended.

A powerful cross platform DB tool that allows both Mac and Windows users to work together seamlessly.

It would be great if we could use DBVisualizer to create and use data entry forms (beyond the Grid style data entry already supported) for in-house use.

I have used DbVisualizer for over 5 years now. In past, I used vendors db admin tools for each of their product, but this tool solved my solution to have a single solution for multiple vendors. This is the only tool I use to do my database developments.

Ease of use, a lot of functionality, multiple DB support, cross platform, very useful if you are working with multiple databases.

There is a learning curve involved on using it in the beginning, but you will appreciate it.
