As we from IT are dealing with/supporting different software-systems with their underlying different database systems, DbVisualizer is a must-have for us. DbVisualizer is the swiss knife and rules all types of databases.

* Can handle all types of databases
* Easy and intuitive to use
* SQL editor with code completion
* Manage Scripts
* Directly edit data in the UI

I have no cons to mention here. At least we have no use-cases the toll doesn't support for now.

Overall, the DBV experience has been outstanding. Me and the other developers have enjoyed using the application and it is an essential part of our work day.

Ease of use is incredible and makes working on projects extremely easy. The UI is unbelievably easy to understand and makes it getting work completed a lot easier. I would highly suggest DBV for anyone looking.

At times the app will be slow to respond and I need to force quit the application, but other than that small hiccup I do not have a real issue that needs addressed.

I've been using DB Visualizer since 2016. Since then I've been renewing annually. Very user-friendly.

I like how user-friendly the tool is. I am not an expert in queries but this tool helped me a lot. I highly recommend it even for beginners.

This tool is perfect and very easy to use than other similar tools. I learned SQL because of this tool. I think one of the cons probably is pricing. It would be nice to lower the cost, especially for loyal customers :D.

I use dbvisualizer for several years already, managing several dozens database connections for different projects.
I've tried several other database management tools, but ended up with dbvis, as it covers all of my needs and is cheaper than comparable products on the market.

- works with lots of database types
- helps organising database connections into tree-like structure
- has smart query language completion
- supports connection profile environment-based restrictions (prevents from running potentially harmful query on wrong server)
- offers master password protection for saved connection passwords
- single-user renewal licence is not so expensive, you can use all of the paid features even after licence expiration (but lose access to updates)

- RAM consumption is somewhat high
- minor UI/UX issues, look and feel is a little outdated
- almost every useful feature is paid-version only

I used dbVisualizer in my first company where I worked with databases. Since then I have seen a few other tools, but have always gone back to dbVisualizer. I simply enjoy working with it and the response times from support are always excellent when needed.

Clear interface makes the training very easy.
Regular updates that keep improving the product.
Finally a dark skin available :)

Sometimes out of memory messages that are difficult to understand.
Sometimes very many line breaks in the automatically formatted view.

I tried several tools, but my favorite is DbVisualizer.

Easy to make new connections.
History function in commander tab.
Diagram function in the result window.
Export function in the result window.

No jump to links like http://.... or others.

A tool that I use in my daily business as a non-DB-Administrator. It makes it really easy to check issues other people run into.

DbVisualizer is an excellent database tool - I would recommend it to anyone who is managing or using multiple databases.

Excellent SQL workbench tool. Allows you to connect to all databases, manage the database, run queries, etc. Great all round tool for anyone managing or using multiple databases...it's much better than having to jump from tool to tool using the database vendors own products.

I can't think of anything that I don't like. DbVisualizer is easy to use and very intuitive.

Overall DbVisualizer is a great product. It's easy to use and supports tons of DB's right out of the box! I have recommended this product to several people already. Love it!

I like how I can connect to all of my database engines, especially EXASOL and MS SQL Server. The console is very intuitive and a breeze to use.

When I highlight a word in the editor window, all other words like it are highlighted as well... which is taking some getting used to. It could be a nice feature but I feel like I'm about to overwrite everything that is highlighted. (Maybe change the highlighted color??)

We have a wide variety of customers and the ability to easily access and assist in data issues has made DbVis one of the most valuable tools I use on a daily basis.

Ease of use and ability to set-up numerous connections for easy access to our customers databases for support of issues. Not only have we used to pinpoint issues when a customer has "flubbed" their data but it makes correctly the issues much easier.

Not a biggie - Recent change in Icon - just took me a few days to remember which one it was on my toolbar!

Generally my go to tool for Db interactions.
I recommend the tool since it is not too pricey and a renewal is very cheap.

I like to use one tool for all my different relational databases. DbVisualizer does that in a good way.

Out of the box integration with Cassandra is missing.

Excellent product. Use it everyday for querying multiple databases, writing big queries and general analysis.

2) Ability to quick open tables and add filters to find data

4) Filters in DB tree browser
5) Key board shortcuts

1) Truncate table option directly in context menu for a table
2) Better execution of Stored procedures would be nice. right click -> execute
3) Better error reporting or SQL errors (line numbers of error in long SQL commands)

The tool is essential, easy to understand and important for teamwork.

The tool is essential for our daily work in developing software for handling our databases using SQL queries.

I cannot judge the disadvantages, because as administrator I only set up the installation and server connections.

Very good so far and I have been using it almost daily and recommending it to my colleagues and friends.

Easy to use and allow you to connect to countless databases, which is great to be able to query several different data sources in the same environment.

This tool is great overall, the only thing that I noticed was sometime the display get replicated, something that I noticed to start to happen recently. I might need to reinstall it if it become bothersome! Otherwise, no complaints!
