    Perspective from the Parts Department.

    Date: Apr 27 2026
    Summary

I would pass on this software unless you are looking to switch to a tablet based system for service, or if you have a lot of customers who prefer communication solely over text.

    Positive

I like the fact that it keeps history of EVERY change made to inspections/quotes. Their search function for looking up a previous ro/inspection works pretty well.

    Negative

At our dealership we use AutoSoftFlex as our DMS and have been using Prodemand for our quotes. Dealer Logix does not integrate with Autosoft at all for anything to do with parts. You still have to add the parts in auto soft, then go click that you "completed the task" in Dealer Logix. It's just very clunky, not visually easy to quickly read through the information on the screen and enter the information required from the Parts position. Our Technicians also agree that it is just adding extra steps to everything since they still have to do all their punches in AutoSoft, and same goes with Service. We aren't doing the scheduling with Dealer Logix so from their perspective also all it is, is extra steps. Dealer Logix has NO manual. They only have a FAQ page with some short video clips. So you HAVE to reach out and contact someone their to figure something out. So If you like extra steps and doubling each task you are already doing in your DMS.
