What is DocKosha?
DocKosha is a secure document sharing and lightweight virtual data room platform for teams that need controlled external sharing without the cost or complexity of heavyweight enterprise VDR software.
It is built for M&A teams, founders, lawyers, fundraising teams, advisors, consultants, finance teams, and operators who share sensitive files with investors, buyers, clients, partners, or external reviewers.
With DocKosha, teams can upload and organize documents, create secure links, build structured data rooms, and control access with password protection, email verification, allowlists, blocklists, NDA gates, download rules, expiry controls, and dynamic watermarking.
DocKosha helps teams move beyond generic file-sharing folders by adding branded sharing, secure viewer workflows, document protection, privacy-first engagement analytics, comments, feedback, Q&A, version history, and audit visibility.
Use DocKosha for investor diligence, M&A review, legal document sharing, board packs, confidential reports, client deliverables, vendor diligence, secure PDF sharing, and lightweight data room workflows.
DocKosha includes a Free plan for secure PDF sharing and lightweight room evaluation. Paid plans add more storage, teammates, custom branding, custom domains, full supported-file uploads, conversion workflows, and version-history controls.

Excellent alternative to DocSend
Date: Jun 08 2026SummaryExcellent experience. Couldn't say otherwise as every feature I thought were missing have been added in a matter of days, and the problems I had were fixed the same way.
Positive- Customer support responds in a few hours, fixes problems or adds features within a few days.
- Easy to set up
- Noob friendlyNegativeThe UX could be slightly better. For example, when accessing a Data Room, I always need a few seconds to find the Share Button. That feels like the heart of what a Data Room is for, but the button is quite small, next to other less useful buttons.
