The software is decent with a lot of features, but overall is fairly pricey when factoring in some of the missing elements. Probably better suited for sales and design only, but is lacking in great project management and expense control. ACH debit is pricey and adds up quick if you do a lot of larger ticket projects. We typically do projects that are $10k and up, which hit the max on the project and in many cases, we hit the cap on several project payments. As a general contractor completing many types of jobs and requiring sales and project management, we have found it to have a lot of features with many that need a lot of improvements.

We have used this software for several years and switched to custom approximately 1 year ago. Estimates/quotes are very professional looking and the layout is eye appealing. Text message is available from the CRM, along with email and messages within the software. Easy communication with team members and sub contractors makes it easy to share important information, files, and photos. Many AI features that can assist with becoming more efficient.

- Photos are slow to load in the field.
- Customer/Project expenses are not easily tracked and could be improved for better understanding of savings/losses within a project to manage profit better.
- You can only have 1 main point of contact per project.
- Many AI features are not very accurate, but I am sure this will improve in time.
- Collecting payment within the CRM is easy, although the cost is relatively high. 1% with a $100 cap for ACH debit and 3.6% for credit card.
- Nowhere to add an expiration date on quotes.

All in all love and would stay if they were competitive with design files, studio designer or my doma.

I love this system and have been using it for years! It is a great way to keep all of your client's data organized. I love the invoices, POs, and floor plans.

However, they just raised their prices and other CRMs are half the price. I can't justify spending double. They make so much off my CC fees from clients that I wish that would lower my monthly price. I'm really wishing I didn't have to transfer everything over, but that's my goal for next month.

Overall, I am very happy with Houzz Pro and plan to continue using it for years to come. I like that I only need to open one system when working on my clients' projects as the mood boards, floor planners, and all my accounting is all in one easy-to-navigate space. Thanks, Houzz Pro!

Houzz Pro helps me stay better organized, streamlines my bookkeeping process, and I especially enjoy the Client Dashboard feature which enables me to send a complete project overview to my clients in a neat, concise and professional way.

Sometimes I wish there were additional default settings so I didn't have to go through each specific project and ensure all my desired settings are lined up.
I appreciate all the updates to the floor planner but wish I could upload specific wallpapers as well as additional specific projects to my designs to be able to best show the client their proposed scheme visuals.

Overall, I would highly recommend Houzz Pro to any design firm owner. It will dramatically improve your business!

We have been using Houzz for several years now, and I could not imagine running our design business without it. It is the central hub for all of our product selections, CRM, invoicing, mood boards, and financial data. Using Houzz saves us so much time in so many different areas. Saving time means that we can do our jobs faster, which results in higher profitability. It truly is a game-changer!

There are still occasional glitches with the integration with Quickbooks. Sometimes things do not sync up properly. It has definitely improved over the past couple of years, but it could still use a little improvement in that area.

I have slowly been implementing Houzz and the process has been increasingly beneficial. I look forward to becoming proficient and well integrated.

Ease of use, the many functions and cost are all exceptional. Especially the 3D modeling which helps set customer expectations.

Difficult to find products and items for the 3D models.

Overall, I'm happy with Houzz and it is a tool that is very much needed in our industry. Houzz's user face is much easier to navigate for creatives vs the competing project management platforms I've used in the past.

Great for bookkeeping, stay organized and up to date on payments. Our sales support rep is always eager to help us which is also nice!

Terrible for time tracking. I have to use a separate time tracker since you cannot start and stop your time log for the same task.

Very positive. It meets many of the needs I have as a boutique full-service interior design firm. I have tried many other software programs and Houzz Pro is one of the easiest and most functional.

I was an original Ivy user years ago, and recently came back to Houzz Pro after trying many other interior design software programs that were good, but not great. The 3D room scanner and floor plan generator was what drew me back - it's been such a useful tool! While I don't use Houzz for lead generation or client communication, I do send my clients their portal links to view their project details (selections, moodboards, etc.) live, which has been a great feature.

The 3D room scanner has glitches; I've noticed that in very large spaces (ie. an open living/dining room in a large A-frame house with 25' h ceilings) the scan was so inaccurate that it was useless. It's also not able to scan new construction (ie. framed-in walls with no drywall).

Easy to use and edit. I have made a few mistakes during start up that are easily corrected. I am in this tool multiple times a day. It feels like a life line to my business.

So easy to get up and running. I love the update UI and how my customers are delighted by all the information available to them. It's helped me so much get off the ground and make great impressions. Love the integrations.

No real cons...just a lot of power in this tool I am working on getting to know.

There is a lot to learn in the Houzz Pro app so at first I thought it was difficult but now that I am getting the hang of it, it has been a huge help and time saver

- easy place to store all files per client
- easy lead tracking system that auto updates status
- 3D modeling scanner is useful and quick

- learning curve, not as user friendly as other applications I have used
- can’t create 3D plans on iPad

Overall it is good, that is why I am still a customer. The 3d planner is great for showing customers what their space could look like.

A good place for potential customers to locate a pro from a site that specifically is geared to the industry, instead of a generic search engine.

The software is robust...too much for a company that already has procedures in place. If you are starting out, this would be a great one stop integration service.

Overall the experience has been pretty good. As I continue to use the software I'm sure any issues I've had thus far will no longer be relevant.

The software is more intuitive than most software's I've used in the past. Fairly easy to get the hang of how to navigate the software. I like that I can call customer support at any time.

I don't really think of too many cons with the software. It's all pretty intuitive.

The only thing that I've found that I don't like is the fact that you can't delete projects. Once it's in, it stays. We created a lot of test projects during testing and now they are there forever (I hope not?)

The first 3 years were really great for me to have Houzz because I needed a lot of help building a website, showing my work and getting leads. lately, the leads amount have dropped significantly, and although I have invested in new marketing packages, I still have not seen the results. however, it has been six months and I am hoping things pick up again! I enjoy working with my account manager, Anthony who has been really helpful through out the years.

Houzz provides good support to new business owners from how to get leads to how to manage and track projects. They set up the business owner with an account manager and the person I get to work with, Anthony is very knowledgeable and helpful at the time of making marketing decisions. I have enjoyed how easy it is to manage my website through houzz. From the design of it to the content that goes on it, I can change things myself at any time or request the support from a Houzz specialist to advise me on what would work best. Houzz also has packages that help you expose your company at a local (city) and nation wide levels.

Houzz offers the option to buy marketing packages that expose you to different cities through adds but it doesn't offer the direct purchase of leads. You get to pick the level of exposure you want to pay for and this gets measured by clients interactions with company's Houzz portal or website. I find this challenging specially if you are just beginning to build a brand/company, and although I have been satisfied so far with their service, I wish they offered the option to purchase leads in the future. I think this would help diversify their product and help business owners have more tools of generating new clients.

Overall, i truly enjoy Houzz and all it has to offer. from the start of setting up a meeting with Katia to learn about the software to using it. it’s been great!

I really enjoy this software compared to the others i’ve seen. i’ve received nothing but excellent compliments from clients stating that the ease and efficiency and overall aesthetic of Houzz is better than anything they’ve seen and used previously

To be honest , i’m in my 1 month of using Houzz and truly haven’t found a con at this time

Houzz Pro has helped my firm scale and is really quite seamless from the designer and client sides. Definitely recommend.

The features are so specifically tailored to designers and how a design firm functions - it's wonderful! I love the ability to customize shared features with clients and the rest of my team too.

Price - a bit expensive for what my firm needs.
Compatibility with Quickbooks - can be buggy.

For a company like ours, this tool is great and helps a lot with onboarding new team members to the construction devision. and producing takeoffs.

Very easy to adopt to and has so much more than just the ability to estimate.
it captures leads, it pre-populates messages to customers, and so much more.

Sometimes the leads that come through are hard to get a hold of.

We are moderately satisfied, however for now we see insufficient ROI, which is certainly disappointing.

A pretty competitive and comprehensive platform that allows to manage a design business essentially from one place.

At the same time it is a bit overwhelming too and feels reductant at times.

Overall this application offers an impressively wide range of features that are easy to use and functional at worst- impressive at best. Use of the platform has helped my business streamline operations and focus on what we do in the first place -our clients and their construction projects.

Ease of use. and intuitive user interface, feature rich. This is offered at a reasonable cost overall, and the support has always been helpful.

Some oversimplification of modules leaves out detail that a specialized software would include. Support (while always helpful and effective) has been slow/next day/ at times.

This is my second experience with Houzz Pro. I have used it in the past in my company and now and introducing the features to the company I am working for. I love the way we can show our projects to clients in an easily searchable option. The ability to upload photos and projects and list the details of textures and products used, makes this a great tool

I love Houzz Pro for a platform to display our company projects to new clients and those searching for a Company to take on their project.

The price in my mind is the only limiting factor. But a justified expense if it helps our business be more noticed.
