Got to keep on your toes spotting suspicious emails, some are obvious, some not so much, which is the whole point, so you get to understand the possible risks and consequences. They are open to suggestions to improve the programme as well.

Didn't like that I got scored down for being on holiday, so made a suggestion, which was implemented.

This program is an effective tool for employees to use, especially if email is utilized a lot. I have grown in my own skills with cyber security and I can confidently say that I owe that growth to Hoxhunt. It doesn't take long to complete a simulation they send (usually every other week or so for my organization). Using this program has even lead to some laughs during staff meetings when coworkers share about some excitement they had from receiving an email, only to find out they were Hoxhunted. I highly recommend this program.

There are many things I love about Hoxhunt.

1. It's very user friendly. In the beginning, I found the emails to be what I considered a little excessive. I didn't understand why I would be getting fake emails sent to me... Until I clicked one thinking it was legitimate. This program is all about raising awareness to phishing scams. I am so eager to write this review because I have noticed improvement in my own awareness and engagement when dealing with emails.

2. It gamifies what most consider to be a not fun part of work. I work for a very large employer. I don't know everyone nor their roles. But after catching ("winning") a Hoxhunt email, you earn stars to go towards a better badge. Hoxhunt does a great job with only showing 6 users who have similar scores as you. You don't know who's doing way better or worse at reporting emails. On the occasions I see someone's name I do know, I have sent a screenshot to them so we can laugh about the friendly competition. It's a silly way to grow friendly engagement among coworkers in a very busy environment.

3. It has made me feel more confident in my skills. I didn't buy into the process at first. Now I'm an advocate for Hoxhunt. Much of what I (we) do at my work is confidential and comes from many email address that are outside our organization. Hoxhunt helped me grow my awareness and skills with recognizing phishing attempts that I clearly didn't recognize at the early stages of use. Thanks Hoxhunt!

I don't have any complaints about Hoxhunt at this time. I have used this program for about 2 years now. At the early stages they had a few features I didn't like and had submitted feedback accordingly. The company has since adapted new approaches that has changed every aspect I wasn't a fan of. So at this moment, there isn't anything that I can really complain about.

It's a great application, I hope I can count on it more often to help me and keep me safe from attackers, keep up the great work.

The application, in addition to teaching the different ways that hacks use, also teaches us how to prevent them and how to be careful with the photos and posts we make daily.

The app could have more ways to test users to help them take precautions.

It is such a fun way of learning without having to read lots of pages of material - the feedback after reporting the Hoxhunt email is the best feature in my opinion.

I like that it sends you emails during working hours that can look legit - but it makes you think... is it!
The fact that there is a leaderboard and it you can earn stars and see your progress is great, and that you can set yourself on holiday so your points don't get affected.

Not that I can think of - I've been using this for around 3-4 months and it has worked really well so far.

Honestly I really liked it! Something new across the boring work inbox. Starting from the "usual" training phishing and scam emails - you can report them via Hoxhunt and also get a micro (but useful) explanation about what have you just reported. Later - "spicy mode" - sometimes really believable and hard to detect. Also the gamification aspect is surprisingly fun. By reporting and completing micro trainings you unlock achievements and upgrade your "shield". It's a first time I saw such mandatory thing be quite enjoyable. Nice! :)

Now I'm paranoid of every unusual email I receive.

Dashboard takes time to find, I always forget where it is.
Vacation mode still sends you emails sometimes.

I really like the fact you progress through levels and a lot of the lessons learnt and skills you can use and apply in your personal life e.g. keeping your personal emails as well as work emails safe.

I love the fact that the email sent are realistic and challenge you to think about what your next actions will be. Additionally the training is bitesize but packed full of information- you can easily apply and remember.

There are none- as we continue to live in an evermore digital world it is vitally important that we keep up to date with this type of training.

Overall, I have found Hoxhunt to be engaging in its content, relevant and useful. I believe I have learnt through the Hoxhunt stimulations and my online behaviour, particularly with regards to my emails, has become safer.

Have the Hoxhunt Button is a fast way to report any suspicious email; the training give the habit to use it.

Receiving possible fake email, is a continuous reminder of possible security threads you can step into.
Easy to understand and the microtraining are fast to consume.

Nothing in particular, may be the possibility to pause when u are on vacation.

Here's a breakdown of the good, the not-so-good, and the overall impact.

Pros:

Keeps you on your toes: Hoxhunt throws realistic phishing simulations your way, so you're constantly rethinking suspicious emails. It definitely helps you stay vigilant, which is key in today's threat landscape.

Learning through micro-training: The emails are short and sweet, making it easy to fit the training into your workday. Plus, after you report a phish, you get a quick explanation of what red flags to look for in the future.

Gamification for engagement: Let's be honest, who doesn't love a little friendly competition? Hoxhunt leaderboards and badges add a fun element and motivate you to stay sharp.

Easy integration: The reporting button seamlessly integrates with my email client, making it effortless to flag suspicious emails.

Occasionally too obvious: Some of the simulated emails can be a bit too easy to spot, especially for those with some cybersecurity experience. It would be great to see a wider range of difficulty levels.

I wish that it worked across all platforms. found that it doesn't have the quicklinks on new Outlook or iPad email.

that it teaches you to think before you click on any random link. i like that you move up levels as you learn.

I think that some of the animation takes to long when you're busy.

Wonderful UI coupled with well thought of phishing email simulation. A product that I would recommend to each corporate.

Very realistic looking phishing email simulation which helps each office colleague to be mindful of handling emails. Also the leaderboard keeps the task of catching phishing emails more engaging.

Nothing as such to highlight. However sometimes we tend to skip reading emails. There should be a mechanism to highlight unread emails.

It's an amazing platform to get trained on how to not get scammed which protects an individual as well as company.

After every report it shows few tips on how to recognise scam e-mails.
It also provides useful tips on how to secure your account.

Haven't found any cons as every e-mail received are unique and trains you to next level.

The software is refine on the user experience. It's like a video game. You gain points and level-up. Then, you unlock "Spicy Mode" which make it like a real challenge. And the info they have on the company can make an email looks like your boss is trying to reach you. It's specific to company, and not general challenges.
Literally the only software my colleagues and I speak of only in good.

Hoxhunt should be a tab in outlook.
At the moment, the Hoxhunt report button is in a not-so-obvious menu. You get use to it, but a tab with the report button would just be more adequate.

Howhunt is a great tool for IT security trainings. I would recommend this platform to anyone. It is well designed, graphics are cool and engaging and lastly it provides great balance between gamification and objective information on the topic. Overall a great tool to use.

Hoxhunt provides trainings on the IT security in an engaging way with real and up-to-date examples of for example phishing threats. The platform works smoothly and allows for a desire to get better in predicting or uncovering IT threats. The platform has a great graphics and design making the tasks generated by the platform pleasant and easy to do. This is underpinned also by its great navigation style and easy to navigate layout. Lastly, the integration of Hoxhunt to outlook e-mail makes it a great tool to have in any organization.

Sometimes, I have encountered minor bugs such as delayed or no at all deleted training e-mail. However, I do not have anything else to say here.

I used to use KnowBe4, and while their platform was more flexible for configuration options, Hoxhunt does a better job of engaging the users and getting more participation. And that's the whole point of it, right? Security awareness starts with people caring about security.

Security is everyone's responsibility, and I firmly believe that the best way to engage everyone is to gamify it. This solution makes it easy and fun for everyone to report phishing email. The user gets instant feedback on simulations as well as real phishing emails. The leaderboard works well, and lets the departments compete against each other. It's well integrated into Microsoft 365, and can use Teams to send notifications. Hoxhunt will register imposter domains that look like yours to simulate impersonation attacks.

-While most of the UI is easy to navigate, sometimes things are a little disjointed.
 -Not their fault, but Microsoft keeps moving the Report Email button in Outlook.
