What is KanoPool?

KanoPool functions as a Bitcoin mining pool that employs both PPLNS and Solo payout methodologies. It begins mining operations at a difficulty level of 8190 and makes adjustments to maintain an average of around 18 shares per minute, while ensuring that a minimum difficulty level of 442 is upheld. Miners are not required to enter a password; instead, they can simply use "X," which is a standard practice in the mining community. To check the responsiveness of nodes, using a tcping application may be necessary, as some nodes may not react to traditional ping requests. Miners can select any worker name, which will be automatically assigned when they connect to the pool. The stratum kano nodes are located in West-USA, specifically selecting randomly between Los Angeles and Phoenix for connection purposes. Additionally, there are multiple servers distributed globally that may provide a more localized mining experience. Besides the primary stratum server, these alternate servers also allow mining through ports 3333, 80, 81, 443, and 8080, thus improving accessibility for miners around the world. This range of server options guarantees that miners can easily find the most effective connection tailored to their requirements, enhancing their overall mining efficiency. Each feature of KanoPool is designed to support a seamless and flexible mining experience for users across various regions.
