Michael from Koinly helped me tremendously with all the issues I had balancing my transactions. He provided continuous support with every issue I had and maintained a stable line of communication. I had several issues getting my Algorand tx's to populate and record correctly, however, Michael was invaluable in steering in the right direction and getting my issues resolved. The only downside is not being able to be Michael's friend in person because of how awesome he was.

Outstanding customer service.
Great UI.
Transparent reporting features.
Documents were easy to download and give my accountant, who had no issues reporting for me.

Lack of DeFi support for Algorand and unreliable API support.

Very happy so far, didn't give 5 stars as there's always room for improvement but Koinly genuinely seems to be rolling out new features and asking their users what they want. The whole industry is 'early' so if things like NFTs in your portfolio can be fiddly, that's just things to work on. Customer service is very helpful.

Wide number of wallets, blockchains etc and more added steadily. Many things are automated where possible using API or pub address etc. Customer service helpful, as are the many help articles/videos. They ask users for requested features/upgrades and work on them as they can.
Can tailor the tax treatment per a few countries and whether personal, business, etc. As for tax, eg for businesses, I know that many tax authorities in various countries are still working out what to do themselves, so it's complex! So again, 'we're early' and there are teething issues generally (not Koinly specifically).

Customer service can take a day to reply, but that's not too bad comparatively, just need more staff I guess! Would like more features (eg more automated NFT transaction/value import) but they are working on them anyway, just takes time.

I am more than happy with Koinly's support on a rather diffficult subject matter to grasp at first.
The research I did found the Koinly is the best crypto tax software. I wholeheartedly recommend Koinly!

As a new user, this software has a great balance in looking straight forward and clear, but actually supports a very broad range of Exchanges and coins and types of transactions.

From my experience, their technical support is consistently outstanding both in traditional written and video examples and human technicians.

Straight-forward interface. Fairly priced. Support a very broad range of Crypto Exchanges. Is able to download most crypto transactions and ultimately characterize transactions for tax reporting (I am a US user only). Most importantly, their technical support documentation is extensive and covers most situations. For those circumstances where the individual user still doesn't understand how to document some unusual transactions, their human technical support is outstanding. I am a new user of Koinly and crypto in general and I have interacted with multiple technicians, all of them outstanding. My most recent interaction with Artjoms started out as the typical outstanding Koinly technician support, but he then independently reviewed all of my transactions and discovered that I had setup my wallets where an ETH or BTC transaction would appear in multiple wallets. This resulted in a 2-3-fold increase in gains and a similar amplified decrease in losses with these duplications as a result of how I setup my wallets. What more could you ask of a technician?

As a result of the above duplicated transactions, I suspect that the software could be improved to automatically look for duplicate transactions in multiple wallets and flag them.

I love it. There is no way I could track and report my trades without Koinly. When needed support is there and it is there until you are satisfied.

Support is there as you need it. Nothing seems like too much trouble and I couldn't have sorted many of the problems without the support.

I don't like that the exchanges seem to ignore that we have to pay tax. Some are better than others but that is why we need support.

I can only say that they are the best customer support team. Anakin, Sam and Stanislav i want to thank each of you for your help. Highly recommended.

I did not like at the beginning because my setting was not correct but when you get to use it with their help nothing to worry about it.

My needs were met promptly and - since the issue was somewhat complicated - met continuously ...and ultimately to complete satisfaction. With so much digital-based customer service happening these days, it is rare when any are satisfactory let alone exemplary. Thank you to the service team at Koinly. The Customer Service is amazing and it tracks almost all of the major exchanges. It makes things super easy at Tax Time to generate your report.

You do need to know a bit about Crypto and how different protocol and transactions are classified but the guys from Koinly will also help you with that if you need.

My overall experience is very positive. I feel that Koinly as a product helps with the stresses of maintaining your transactions with cryptocurrency and with time it will not only be harder to remember to track your crypto but for what reason once it goes mainstream.
People are taxed for buying toilet paper or milk with fiat but if you use a visa card that has crypto as your currency there is a heavy price to pay and that needs to be changed!

I deeply appreciated Michael and Koinly's guidance working with my crypto transactions history and I deeply respect the ambition the team has with helping their clients like myself to feel comfortable and informed about their transactions.
I do feel that Koinly is standing out in this way. I have tried (it feels like dozens) other crypto tax and portfolio services but this one feels like it is clearly the best service with great and quick responding customer support.

I hope these individuals feel proud working for Koinly.

The videos that they publish with the guy with glasses are very helpful and I plan on staying with Koinly for the foreseeable future.

They answer a lot of questions in their forums but the videos and the customer support just top it off.

With all things in life there is room for improvement but honestly the majority of the issues are user error and user knowledge. You do have to dig around a bit to get some of the better forums based on your needs but if they can figure out a quick search or some pop ups around specific tasks like if you are doing things with a manual change or a specific transaction maybe a tab can pop up explaining best practices or if this is or isn't the right step to be doing this change.

My experiences have left me confident that the knowledge and expertise of Koinly's support will do whatever it takes to help you resolve problems you encounter. Especially if you have difficulty importing history provided by exchanges.

I never write reviews, but Artjoms at Koinly customer support has helped me resolve issues with an exchange wallet of more than 70k transaction - to virtually nil errors. I now have an accurate picture of my crypto transaction history.

So, If you find you encounter an issue while using the Koinly site - I would definitely recommend reaching out to the support team.

My expert review was done by Yana who has done an excellent job in fixing my transactions, I was not happy with the fact that there is no option to talk to the reviewer initially and I have not received emails in the first week (as the mails were going to my spam folder) however my experience got improved after I started getting review comments and working towards solving issues in the transactions. I would give 5 stars for the expert review done in my case.

I was having issues and did not know how to use Koinly. I emailed support and Alex "stuck with me", he answered all my questions and instructed me how to properly use Koinly. Excellent one on one customer support, helped fix issue and learn how to use Koinly. Excellent tier pricing. I am using it for the second year it gets even better. I had to contact help for the second time and received fast friendly expert help, fixed my issue fast.

So far I have not found a con. Koinly actually supports its customers and will not abandon you.

Have not encountered any negative aspects so far. Crypto can be very confusing, and the support team understands that and answers accordingly.

Koinly was great. Even though I waited until "crunch time" to finalize my crypto taxes, Stanislav was fast, very responsive and helped me get all of my wallets straightened out and ready to send to my accountant. I'll for sure be using them next year for my crypto taxes.

Easy to use, quick, easy fixes (if needed) and the chat support was great. Pricing was good and fair.

Honestly I didn't really have any. When I started my taxes they didn't have the Helium Wallet set up, but by the time I was ready to file my taxes, they had added it and I was able to easily upload my CSV file for my Helium Wallet. So I didn't have 1 con.

Jason, Artjom and the other guys helped me to manage my tax report. They always responded fast and explained it patiently for me in a language i can understand. It is good to know that the support is behind you for every question!

Even though they are extremely busy, they will always reply back and provide as much detail to support you! I’ve never been let down! They are knowledgeable at what they do! Every agent has been very nice! Their replies are personable so there’s actually a live human behind their response! They don’t copy and paste! If you still don’t understand and need more help, they will not be offended and respond back with as much support until you have what you need!

It can take up to a week or so but that’s not too bad as it shows the popularity of Koinly, more and more people use this platform due to the superb service! I’ve tried other crypto tax platforms and when I reach out for support they direct you to their support page; that’s it! Don’t have the personal attention I get like I do with Koinly team!

My overall experience was very good mainly due to the support I received to complete my taxes. I am grateful for the great service Alex provided me! He was very responsive and insightful helping me through each of the problems that arose.

An employee at Koinly named Alex went above and beyond what he needed to do in order to help me. My crypto tax status end of January was in shambles. Alex walked me through the necessary steps in order to get things in order, where I was able to complete my taxes on time. I am grateful for the quickness in the response time to get this done. I didn't see any cons to this product. The only thing that may be worth mentioning is the '10,000 free transactions'. I figured I was getting the service for free. That wasn't the case where I misunderstood. I felt the struggles that I went through regarding getting my crypto on track before tax season was over, was well worth what I paid in the end though.

Worked great for me! I'll get a second opinion on my capital gains (losses with crypto haha) and it should be fine!

What I like best, as I'm sure does every other user, is the total amount of seamless integrations it has with wallets and exchanges. Love it.

Exceptional support provided by Anastasiia in the expert review team, especially for anyone who has complicated EOS Airdrops, staking rewards etc. Well worth the price to have someone so knowledgeable clean up my crypto trades and help remove all the noise / zero value airdrops.
