Bad communication
Date: Mar 17 2025SummaryI had a very disappointing experience and would never recommend this service. The lack of communication and support was frustrating, and any attempts to resolve issues were either ignored or met with unhelpful responses. The quality did not match expectations, and there was little to no effort to address concerns. It felt like they were more interested in taking money than providing a reliable or professional experience. Given the poor customer service and overall dissatisfaction, I strongly advise others to look elsewhere. There are far better options available that actually value their customers and deliver what they promise.

After you were on board and made the payment, when you questioned their ability to send traffic, the company started to get silent and ignored you.
When I joined the sales call, their sales representative mentioned the following key items that attracted me to sign up 1) Learn Desk can help me to get more traffic to my program as they have existing students and corporate clients. 2) LearnDesk support is available 24x7.
I decided to give it a try and was able to complete my workshop and publish it at the end Oct 2023.
I started to book calls on - 10 Nov - 20 Nov - 13 Dec - 27 Dec - 2 Jan 2024 and despite someone attending the call, no one was able to advise me about the global catalog or the marketing issues.
I was on a call with Learndesk support on 10 November 2023 and their support team suggested that I email the marketing team. She also mentioned the global catalog where Learndesk can publish my course and see how the traffic is. She will coordinate with the internal team to publish my course in the catalog. I also emailed the marketing team on 11 November 2023 and no one responded.
I waited and still saw no traffic going into my school. In between I booked 4 calls, I waited, and then on 2 January 2024, I booked another call and spoke to a customer support rep.
I then asked for the cancellation of my subscription and a refund of my previous subscription (about 3 months of USD75) as there was no support for me despite having booked numerous calls on the marketing inquiries and global catalog.
The customer support rep advised she will speak to the team and come back to me within the same day (which is supposed to be 2 January 2024) on the cancellation request and she will speak to the team about the refund issue.

Things started off fine however they quit paying us the fees they collected for our courses. They do not respond to emails/phone calls and cancel meetings when I set them up to discuss with them. They state it is because of 120 day waiting period for chargebacks; however it will be close to a year before we get paid for the courses we have taught. Google LearnDesk reviews before you use the service and save yourself the hassle.
PositiveEasy to use and product is relatively cheap. But you get very little for the small price tag. You deal directly with the VP.
NegativeCustomer service is abysmal and unresponsive. If I could give it a zero I would. They make it sound like it is very user friendly and there are a lot of features, however once you start using it is evident that you get very little for the price and since they are based in another country so do not provide quick turnaround for technical issues.

Ripped off my course

Misleading Business Practices
Date: Nov 14 2023SummaryI have tried for a year to use this product for my video course content and was not able to create a viable workout to make it work because the storage fees for video on their site is way more expensive than anywhere else and I didn't know those fees until AFTER you pay the money. Misleading business practices! Stay away! So basically I paid several hundred dollars and have not sold or hosted one single class. Additionally, you don't get paid until you have made $100 so if you have a small seller and only bring in $80, you won't get it. I really am disappointed, because I really wanted to like this and use it.

NegativeExtra Fees for Storage - before you sign up the site says you get unlimited storage, but after you sign up you find out there are FEES for storage so it is unlimited if you PAY for it.

Really struggling with LearnDesk
Date: Oct 09 2023SummaryAs a currently licensed Realtor from another state, I have taken other online courses in the past which have offered study helps such as flash cards, printed guides for study, and the ability to print specific pages and search bars so you can locate specific information. LearnDesk offers none of this. I won't go down this path again.
PositiveI am currently taking the Florida Real Estate course online through LearnDesk. Your purchase is for the online version the the Principles of Real Estate Practice In Florida book and the ability to read it and take the exams at your own pace. That in itself is fine because to take the exam a student needs a certificate of completion and (hopefully) that is available at the conclusion.
NegativeThere are no options to print important pages. You can't highlight important information to easily find later. There is no way of searching specific topics, as in finding a correct answer to a quiz question. There is no Glossary or Definition sections that I have found. There is no search bar for quickly finding information.

Good platform for teachers

PositiveAs a traditional teacher, I am used to face to face classes. During pandemic when this was not possible, I started searching cost effective ways to reach my students. Most platforms are either expensive or not easy to use, when I came across learn desk, I was able to meet both my needs. I have been taking live classes for over 22 months now, and able to share assignments, notes with students. Attendance feature is also important feature that I am using effectively.
