PositiveThe interface has worked very well for our two facilities. Having the system gives every employee from top to bottom the power to get problems addressed quickly and efficiently by direct communication to our maintenance supervisor. Every computer in our organization has a desktop link to the system.
NegativeI don't really have any complaints, There really is minimal training required of new employees, so that typical frustration with software applications has not been experienced by us.

It is easy to use for the basics, however, I am sure that it is capable of more than we have been able to implement. We don't have any IT trained staff, and we are all very busy, so if a function isn't super easy to understand - it doesn't get used.
PositiveIt is a consistent method of tracking work and hours for a large maintenance staff. The filters are useful in finding and matching work orders. It syncs on the PC, tablet, and phone.
NegativeThe reporting portion is difficult to manipulate. It doesn't calculate hours when a Work Order is worked over multiple days, and we have to rely on the staff to update the time spent manually. It would be nice to be able to duplicate work orders for routine repeated tasks. It would be helpful to be able to mark several work orders to update or print, instead of one at a time - also to be able to mark a list as invoiced. I think this is the most inconvenient part for me.

NegativeRunning reports is difficult to figure out. I.E. I like to share with the admin how much time we spend at each of our locations. Which trade we spend most of our time troubleshooting, etc.

Maintenance Care Thoughts
Date: May 10 2024SummaryOverall, I would say our partnership with Maintenance Care has been a success, we are able to keep track of vital equipment maintenance and keep machine down time to a minimum. As a facility manager that is always the goal, keep machines running (limited down time) and keep costs under control. There is also accountability as reports can be run to see who is getting tasks complete and who is not.
PositiveThe software is easy to setup and operate. We entered all of our assets (Shop Equipment) into the software and created, daily, weekly, monthly, and annual tasks for the operators that run the equipment. We also setup tasks to remind us to contact vendors for more complicated annual PM's and services the equipment may need.
NegativeThere are a few bugs the developers are still working out but so far nothing that prevents us from using the software for our needs.
