If you don't have Linux skills or prefer windows then this is not the product for you. If you don't have basic networking skills then this is not the product for you. If you are only at system admin level in a basic network then there are other options out there.

Free at its core but with commercial support available and a range of commercial modules. I particularly like their event management module.

Powerful and free. Good performance management and excellent configuration and event management if using the commercial modules.

Advanced functions like multi server architecture and high end event management require a commercial license.
