What is POK?
POK transforms how organizations generate and manage accomplishments by enabling the creation of unique digital credentials in the format of verifiable NFTs, which can be produced using templates or custom designs, and issued almost instantaneously through a spreadsheet or API. Each credential is fortified by blockchain technology, guaranteeing its integrity and allowing for easy sharing on platforms such as LinkedIn, which significantly amplifies recognition through increased visibility. Beyond merely offering certifications, POK also equips users with tools to track engagement metrics and assess employability outcomes, effectively converting traditional static PDFs into dynamic, trustworthy assets that showcase real impact and value. This groundbreaking method not only streamlines the recognition process but also cultivates a more transparent and efficient system for validating achievements in the digital realm. By doing so, POK ensures that accomplishments are not only acknowledged but also celebrated in a way that reflects their true significance.

POK Proof of Knowledge
Date: Aug 11 2025SummaryHighly recommended. In a context where digital identity in education and work is fragmented, POK offers a reliable and secure solution. Its focus on verifiable digital credentials combats diploma forgery and facilitates the connection between education and employment.
PositiveWhat I like most about POK is that it truly puts the user at the center, giving them real ownership of their digital credentials through NFTs on a public blockchain. Additionally, it complies with all international standards, has a fair and transparent model (with no hidden fees), and easily integrates with multiple platforms. I find it very valuable that it combines innovation with security, interoperability, and regional leadership.
NegativeWhat I like least about POK are aspects related to its reach and visibility. Although it is a leader in Latin America, it still lacks global recognition compared to competitors like Credly or Accredible, mainly due to a lack of international marketing. Additionally, the concept of NFTs for credentials is not yet well understood, and there is a need for clearer educational material for institutions.

POK proof of Knowledge
Date: Aug 11 2025SummaryMy overall experience with POK has been excellent. The platform delivers exactly what it promises: secure, verifiable, and impactful digital credentials that go beyond simple certification to create real professional opportunities. Its combination of blockchain verification, employability tracking, and gamification makes it stand out in the market. The customer support team is responsive and proactive, and the integration process with our existing systems was smooth. I see POK not just as a credentialing tool, but as a strategic partner in building trust, engagement, and long-term value for our learners and stakeholders.
PositiveUnique combination of blockchain-based verification, employability tracking, and user engagement features. Unlike other credentialing platforms, POK issues certificates and micro-credentials as NFTs on a public blockchain, ensuring they are fully secure, immutable, and globally verifiable without relying on a centralized server. I also appreciate its strong alignment with international standards like Open Badge 3.0 and the European Learning Model, as well as its seamless integrations with LMS platforms such as Moodle, Blackboard, and Canvas. The platform’s focus on user experience, gamification, and marketing tools helps increase the visibility and value of each credential, making it a powerful asset for both institutions and recipients.
NegativeWhile POK offers powerful features, its rich functionality means there is a slight learning curve for new administrators to fully explore and configure all capabilities. Additionally, because it is a relatively new platform compared to some long-established competitors, global brand recognition is still growing outside Latin America. That said, these are minor considerations compared to the overall value and innovation it delivers.

Chairman
Date: Aug 06 2025SummaryPOK is by far the most advanced and future-ready platform for issuing digital credentials. It combines the power of NFTs and blockchain with compliance to global standards like OpenBadge 3.0 and the European Learning Model. The platform is beautifully designed, fully customizable (white-label), and incredibly easy to use — for both issuers and recipients.
The team behind POK is highly professional and responsive, constantly improving the platform and adding new features. Compared to other solutions, POK offers more flexibility, better technology, and lower costs.
It’s an excellent choice for institutions and organizations looking to issue trusted, verifiable, and long-lasting credentials at scale.PositivePOK is a truly innovative platform that combines blockchain, NFTs, and open standards like OpenBadge 3.0 and the European Learning Model. It’s fully customizable (white-label), supports multiple languages, and includes an integrated mobile wallet app. The team is incredibly responsive, the user interface is intuitive, and the credentials are visually stunning and verifiable forever.
Compared to other platforms, POK stands out for its scalability, technical depth, and affordability. It’s ideal for universities, bootcamps, governments, and corporations that want trusted, modern, and future-proof digital credentials.NegativeHonestly, nothing significant. After exploring other platforms like Credly or Accredible, POK feels more complete and more aligned with modern standards. Any initial onboarding questions were quickly solved by their support team. The platform is still evolving, so new features are added regularly — and that’s actually a strength.

POK is excellent for emitting micro-credentials
Date: Aug 15 2025SummaryI have used POK´s NFTs to certify knowledge being acquire by students during my academy's courses. They are a solid tool in terms of cybersecurity because of their public-blockchain based NFTs that are very simple to design and emit. Nevertheless, their employability feature is the one that most caought my eye and the one i most appreciate about their product. I can track my students evolution in the market after they receibe a credential. That has already helped me develop specific courses based on skills that are being highly valued in the market.
Their attention is impeccable. I totally recommend this tool if you are part of any institution.PositiveThe platform is very easy to use and they have a great service. The credentials security is guaranteed beacuse of their NFTs. They are based on a public blockchain so I am assured that the certificates are either property of my institution or property of my students. I can track my students employability. I can customize the hole process with my institutions branding. They have free web2 certificates that also very good; difference is that those certificates are not located on any blockchain, they are just a PDF like any other platform has (not for free though). I can emit NFTs in bulk in just some minutes!
NegativeSo far I have not had any problem. I have already emitted some 3600 certificates and 1000 badges.

POK - PROOF OF KNOWLEDGE
Updated: Aug 12 2025SummaryAlthough POK has some challenges, they are actually opportunities to grow and stand out in the market.
Many institutions don’t understand what a real NFT credential is. This causes them to make poor comparisons between POK and weaker platforms.
Little global visibility -> POK is strong in Latin America, but it is still not well known in the U.S., Europe, or Asia.
There are platforms that claim to use blockchain, but in reality, they only store data in the cloud. This confuses the public.
POK has the opportunity to educate the market and become the reference for real NFT credentials.
It has an innovation advantage and can differentiate itself globally. POK can stand out as a safer, more open, and more affordable option.PositiveWhat I like most about POK – Proof of Knowledge – is that they offer real and secure digital credentials, using blockchain technology. They are not empty promises.
The user owns their credentials: they are stored in their wallet, not in an account lent by the platform.
It complies with all international standards. It doesn’t charge for using the platform, there are no hidden costs or subscriptions.
It works with many educational systems, thanks to its open integrations.
It is safe and reliable: it uses public blockchain so that the data is verifiable and permanent.
I have no doubt it is a leader in Latin America! =)NegativeAlthough POK's proposal is very good, there are some points that could be improved:

Little visibility outside Latin America: It is not yet as well known worldwide as other similar platforms.
Lack of education on the subject: Many institutions do not fully understand what a real NFT credential on blockchain is. More educational material and clear examples are needed.
POK needs to change that perception and explain its true value. -

Credentials as they should be
Date: Aug 11 2025SummarySolving our need for digital credentials with these guys has been amazing. Their platform is super simple, and their team was super responsive when we had doubts along the way.
PositivePOK not only provides tamper-proof verifiable credentials. They also provide durable NFTs on public blockchains, giving the grantee actual ownership over its certs.
Their APIs and plugins made it really easy to integrate with our existing LMS and straight into our existing processes.NegativeThese guys were not easy to find. Their website sure has space for improvement so they're more easy to find in Google.

POK is revolutionizing the ownership of digital credentials by making them verifiable and truly yours. However, it still faces the challenge of gaining global visibility and better explaining its value to the market.
Date: Aug 11 2025SummaryIf I had to point out POK – Proof of Knowledge's weaknesses, I'd say they are actually golden opportunities. If handled well, they could catapult the company to an even more solid global leadership position. The challenges it faces today are the perfect ground to build very strong competitive advantages.
Challenges That Can Be Turned into Competitive Advantages
Clarifying what a credential NFT is: Many educational institutions still don't see the difference between a real credential on a public blockchain and other simpler options that merely use the term "blockchain." This can initially lead some to compare POK to less robust platforms without understanding the genuine value it offers. POK has the opportunity to lead the conversation and **educate the market** on why its model is superior.
Changing the perception of the word "NFT": In certain markets, people still associate NFTs with digital art or speculation, not with a serious, professional use like certification. This can create an initial barrier, but it's also an opportunity for POK to position itself as the benchmark that **redefines the meaning of the term**, linking it to permanent and verifiable digital ownership.
* **Increasing global recognition:** POK is already a leader in Latin America, but its name doesn't have the same resonance in places like the United States or Europe. This, however, gives it the opportunity to enter those markets as an **innovative and more secure alternative** to established competitors like Credly or Accredible.
* **Differentiating from competitors with "misleading marketing":** Some platforms sell conventional credentials as if they were true blockchain-based solutions. POK can use this market confusion to its advantage, attracting dissatisfied clients who are looking for a **truly permanent and transparent solution**.
* **Optimizing communication and reach:** POK's global visibility still has significant room for improvement in terms of SEO, AEO, and public relations. If it invests in these areas, POK could be positioned as the global leader it already is technologically, but **without needing a massive advertising budget**.
These "problems" are not insurmountable obstacles; rather, they are the foundation upon which POK can build a unique and very difficult-to-replicate market position.PositiveWhat truly attracts me to POK – Proof of Knowledge is its courage to do something most don't dare to: take digital credentials to the next level. Instead of offering halfway solutions or relying on pure marketing, they're committed to real NFTs on a public blockchain, ensuring genuine ownership for the user.
What does this mean in practice?
The user is the true owner: The credentials are held directly in the owner's wallet. They aren't a loan from the platform but a genuine digital asset.
Leading the way with standards: They are pioneers, strictly complying with the most important global standards (OpenBadge 3.0, European Learning Model, LTI, GDPR). As founders of 1EdTech LATAM, their voice holds real weight in defining these parameters.
A clear and fair model: Their platform is completely free to use. They only charge for issuing credentials, with no surprises like hidden fees or restrictive premium plans.
Unlimited connections: They offer open APIs, LTI, and plug-and-play compatibility with a wide range of systems, from learning platforms like Moodle, Canvas, and Blackboard, to CRMs like Salesforce and HubSpot.
Security and interoperability as their banner: Using a public blockchain ensures that data is verifiable, permanent, and compatible with any other system.
Leadership with a future-forward vision: They are the benchmark in Latin America, and their expansion into the United States, Europe, and Japan shows that their model is making a global impact.NegativeIf I had to find a weak point for POK – Proof of Knowledge, it wouldn't be in its value proposition, which I find to be very solid and unique. Instead, it lies in areas that, if improved, could boost its growth and adoption.

Greater Visibility Outside Latin America: While it's an undisputed leader in the region, its global presence isn't yet on par with competitors like Credly or Accredible. This isn't a product issue, but an opportunity in marketing and public relations to make its name known worldwide.
Educating the Market on NFTs: The term "credential NFT" is still confusing. Many institutions don't understand the crucial difference between a real NFT hosted on a public blockchain and a more conventional digital credential that just uses the word "blockchain" as a marketing tactic. It's vital to create more educational content and showcase concrete use cases to explain this.
Improved Digital Positioning: Its website could be better optimized for global searches in English (SEO and AEO). This would allow universities and companies from around the world to easily find POK when looking for digital credential solutions.
Strengthening Strategic Alliances: Despite having open and accessible integrations (APIs, LTI), the company could benefit from stronger alliances with major tech companies and global educational associations to accelerate its expansion.
Countering the Negative Perception of NFTs: In certain markets, the word "NFT" is associated more with digital collectibles and speculation than with a serious use case like credentials. POK must continue working to redefine this term, associating it with "verifiable and permanent digital ownership."
