In usability, Pipefy platform is not so simple or easy.

It is one of the best process management platforms available on the market with free version and a very cheap starting price for the paid version with features incorporating your daily task needs, customer service, HR, finance and such.

We looked into Pipefy to provide better integration between our Sales, Marketing, and Support departments. The idea being to have a clean hand-off of client data from Sales to Support. When Support identifies something that interests the client, they could easily trigger for Marketing to start a new email campaign, for instance.

To Pipefy's credit, the basic workflows we created resulted in a trial success. This is a testament to Pipefy's ease of use and the quality of their support.

Where Pipefy breaks down is that it doesn't get particularly granular. Most of how Pipefy works is that you sort of push requests from queue to queue until someone manually does a thing. That's definitely a form of automation, but not as rich of an experience as we hoped.

Even so, to setup these more advanced workflows takes time. Both because the web platform is really clunky and slow and because it takes time to grasp the relationships. The first part is Pipefy's fault; the latter is more the reality that these systems take time to build.

Pipefy does offer some basic boxed designs, like Help Desk, but they aren't very good. They seem to be there more to instruct on best practices than to be used.

Overall, Pipefy was the best of we felt like the time to production was too vast. We felt that if we were going to spend six months to build a system in Pipefy, we might as well build something more customized using other systems and programming languages (Note: the prices are not comparable).

Pipefy uses cards based visualizer which can be triggered through pre-set triggers and action can be set upon such as creating, moving, merging the cards. You can import all your email templates to Pipefy which can be easily used to send emails to the recipients with just one click from the card itself. It has good sizeable template repository which you can edit according to your need for creating workflow process.
