Overall MS PowerPoint is one of the leading presentation software and has been around for quite some time. While I dislike the move to a subscription service on Microsoft's part, the most recent incarnations of PowerPoint are a definite improvement on older versions of the software, and I prefer PowerPoint to other alternatives currently on the market.

More recent versions of Microsoft's PowerPoint have ultimately proven to be a very useful presentation tool for projects. In a recent graduate level group project I lead, we utilized MS PowerPoint's online coordination abilities to work be able to work on the presentation simultaneously. This ability was amazing while we were closing the project out and preparing the final presentation as while we were holding the wrap up meeting in Skype we were able to all make edits and review the presentation on the same copy.

My main complaint with PowerPoint is that the user interface in more recent versions is a bit more confusing and less user friendly than older versions.

PowerPoint has been the king of presentation software since its debut decades ago. It has a huge variety of features and wide community support. However, it must be purchased with the rest of the office suite.

PowerPoint has been around for a long time, but is working to stay relevant. If you haven't used it in a while, I recommend revisiting it to see the new features!

There are consistent updates to the software that have made it better than ever. There are new designs, and my personal favorite, live language translation while you present! They are certainly working to keep PowerPoint competitive with similar products, and are really making it work.

I wish there was easier cloud storage or collaborative editing through PowerPoint, but this is easily achieved by pairing it with other softwares like Box.

PowerPoint is basically the industry standard, so if you're making presentations for other partners and need to plug and play into their templates, may as well make powerpoint your go to... otherwise you'll be wasting time with cleaning up the formatting for a converted file.

PowerPoint has incrementally improved over the years, and has more features than I have time or patience to explore...it gets the job done well.

Images aren't as easy to work with in PowerPoint as they are in keynote. Design in general in keynote seems to have a better 'feel'.

It's the standard to which all other presentation builders are compared. It easy to use and figure out new features without needing special training.

PowerPoint is easy to use, powerful, and professional for building presentations. The templates and see m designs are nice too.

It doesn't have quite the flash as Apple's presentation builder, which seems more modern, but it does the job.

Overall PowerPoint is the founding father for presentations. I do admit they could use some new features, but if you are looking for simplistic way to express an idea or present to an audience, this is the program to use.

Powerpoint is so smooth to use. I have been using it for easily 10 years. They provide plenty of templates to create presentations to captivate your audience.

Lately PowerPoint has felt stagnant as now new features have rolled out. I would like to see some features that Prezi has be incorporated.

Overall, I would recommend Microsoft Powerpoint to anyone who plans to teach and needs a solid option for presentation slides.

I wish Microsoft Powerpoint had the ability to convert into Keynote.

Microsoft PowerPoint is an amazing tool to create attractive slides for any type of presentation. There are a lot of transition and animations available within the software to make the slides more attractive.

1. PowerPoint has a ton of readily available template for every theme.
2. Content can be copy and pasted from other Microsoft Office tools directly to the PowerPoint.
3. Animations can be added to customize and make the slides a little more intuitive.
4. It has pretty much all the features of Word along with animations and transitions feature.

1. It does not support video well in the slides.
2. All the features can be a bit intimidating at first for the beginner.

Originally made for the MacOS, it has actually become a staple of every Windows PC. PPT decks are intuitive and fun and make meetings easier.

Ease of use, features, design and support are unparalleled. There are very few apps like MS PPT. Updated support for local languages makes life better.

Nothing much to hate in PPT. It is the standard for delivering presentations.

Definitive experience for creating office presentations. Others imitate and build on top of, but this is the original and always will be.

This application has a very specific purpose, but it is surprisingly useful in generating other types of content.

Powerpoint let users create surprisingly customizable documents. The intention is to create slides for presentations, or any visual, linear content, but it can do more than that as well! Especially for users that don't have access to (or don't have the knowledge to use) Adobe programs, powerpoint has enough tools that users can create graphics, charts, tables, etc that can be used in myriad contexts.

While there is definitely an art to creating effective presentations, powerpoint delivers all of the necessary tools in a very streamlined package. Powerpoint is one of the most intuitive, easy-to-use Microsoft application.

Microsoft should remove annoying slide transitions so that no one is ever subjected to distracting fades. All jokes aside, I think the main issue with powerpoint is that it needs a makeover. I hear a lot of people discuss powerpoint as though it were ancient tech that is never used anymore. In my line of work, it has been a critical way to craft project pitches and sales presentations. Microsoft should consider ways to keep the platform relevant before they loose the user literacy that they currently have.

Overall, PowerPoint is a great option for business or personal use. Creating memories or presentations, this software is well designed and very user-friendly. The ease of creating your own content is great!

PowerPoint allows our company to create internal training presentations with ease. The template options are creative and well-designed. The outcome of your presentation solely depends on the effort you put into it. Results may vary but the software is amazingly user-friendly and streamline.

It would be very convenient to have a voice over option for presentations that are created. Having two sounds as an option would also be nice, so setting a soothing music and then voiceover recording while the slides are directed.

As a math-physics teacher, I use it many times to illustrate the curriculum. Students are also happy to use it either for learning or to do their own work.

Microsoft PowerPoint is a leading presentation platform. I have been using from student life to today's professional business life. It allows us to speak out imaginations and vision into a presentation format. Very easy to use.

It's very good software and available in nearly all PCs which have Microsoft Office. This tool is used daily for making presentations and also helpful in teaching in smart classes. All transitions, and edit tools helps in making presentation is acceptable by users.

Slides makes the presentation looks good. Animation can be added. All edit tools available which is required for making good slides. Bullets points focus on the main points. Ppt file can be saved and share with other users easily.

File size is slightly high if animation and slide transition is added. May face difficulty in attaching the mail.
