    Amazing Multi-Company Environment and Outstanding Customer Service!

    Overall I've been having an excellent experience with Premier and their AMAZING customer service!

    During our transition from Quickbooks to Premier, we’ve been pleased with the multi-company environment that allows you to easily switch from any screen and run consolidated financial statements by the company. Premier Excel permits you to pull live accounting data for endless custom report possibilities and allows you to attach files for all types of transactions to store in a folder system that’s easy to use.

    We are a growing real estate developer that migrated to Premier from QuickBooks. During this transition, we’ve been pleased with the multi-company environment that allows you to easily switch from any screen and run consolidated financial statements by the company. The software provides full job costing with multiple levels of detail, such as budget reports and tools, and seamless integration between job cost and GL financials. It easily allows you to request and track approvals for invoices, contracts, PO’s and provides electronic signatures as an additional benefit. Premier Excel permits you to pull live accounting data for endless custom report possibilities and allows you to attach files for all types of transactions to store in a folder system that’s easy to use.

    Negative

    It’s a learning curve on how everything works with some inconsistency between modules in terms of functionality and layout, however, the team provides outstanding customer service and support when it’s needed. As our projects progress, we look forward to leveraging more of Premier’s features, such as the automated bank draws and vendor invoice portal.

    A transformative platform that will help any construction team scale

    I wish it was this easy to onboard new software all the time. Our team is very excited to be utilizing this platform. It's keeping us organized and it makes us look like rock stars in front of vendors and clients.

    Positive

    The platform is extremely versatile and allows any team to easily customize based on preferences, internal processes and team objectives. Unlike other platforms we have used in the past, this one is fully integrated with accounting and project management, both having equal importance. The other platforms have typically skewed to either side of the business. It's intuitive making it very easy to use. All our team members (even our less tech savvy team members) have been able to adapt to this new system with much ease. Lastly, their integration process is seamless with amazing trainers.

    Negative

    This product would have received 5 stars for everything listed above. I don't have much negative feedback with the exception of pricing. It's on the pricier side (more so for smaller startups). But considering all the other options in the market place, I would say it's priced fairly.

    Project Management & Accounting Teams Have More Transparency Across All Projects

    Transitioning our company’s accounting systems to Premier has been an absolute game changer. The entire process from initial set up, to in depth training, to troubleshooting, and internal process development the team at Premier has been there every step of the way. We’ve felt very supported, and the process was as seamless as could be.

    As a result of implementing Premier, our project management and accounting teams have more transparency across all our projects. Our project managers have real time access to project financial information and are empowered to make decisions to better serve our clients and increase project profitability. The reporting features in particular are very user friendly, customizable, and provide relevant data for all users. Our project managers love the AR billing functionality which saves time every month and has built-in redundancy to ensure all project costs are captured.

    Excellent investment for Developers and Contractors

    We did an in-depth review of the various software systems on the market today and we are really happy that we ended up choosing Premier. Having an enterprise system where PM and Accounting functions are in one system cannot be overstated. We have run software packages where these functions are separate and they never go as advertised.

    Positive

    Premier has an excellent onboard team which is very important when transitioning while the business continues to operate. It is a very user friendly interface and it has allowed us to be better organized with our job costing and tracking.

    Negative

    There are some features around auditing that are not a big concern for our company, and so there are sometimes a few additional steps required to complete tasks but it's a very minor thing. As we grow, it is likely a good thing for these systems to be in place.

    This software offers a ton of value!! It's modern, easy to use and industry specific features that are well thought out with great support.

    Having all my accounting, project mgmt. and job costing in one place is awesome! It saves me time by automating the sub and change order agreements and sending it off for electronic signatures. Also the forecasting feature is easy to use and lets me plug in anticipated costs. The drawing management feature is a game-changer - it keeps track of revisions and make it easy to invite subcontractors and architects. Best of all - they have great support!

    The onboarding process took a little longer than initially expected but we had internal change issues.

    Extremely User-Friendly and Convenient Construction Management Software!

    I like the ease of the system; its extremely user-friendly. One of Premier’s best features is the ability to drill down to the invoice level directly from any report, it’s very valuable. Also, the software provides links to previous views, eliminating the need to open multiple tabs or search fields – everything is seamlessly interconnected, which is very convenient. The system has made my life so much easier! The cheque-printing process is extremely fast, and most functions can be accessed with a simple click allowing for electronic submission of subcontracts, lien waivers, remittance advices, change orders. This has been a huge time-saver for me.
