When we first launched our application, it unfortunately crashed within 30 minutes due to an overwhelming number of accesses, which overloaded the server’s memory, CPU, and maxed out our database server.

    We have an event ticketing website which works great, but we have a couple of "scarcity events" where demand for tickets at the time they go on sale is tremendous. Our server wasn't keeping up. By using Queue-Fair we were able to keep the load on our server to a level that we could handle and the on-sale events have gone much smoother than they would have otherwise. Queue-fair have been great to answer questions and help us whenever we ran into roadblocks.
