What is SafeInstinct?
SafeInstinct provides a cybersecurity awareness training initiative aimed at converting security and privacy obligations into practical habits that can be adopted by your team right away. Instead of depending on the typical, infrequent yearly training sessions, the program incorporates short modules of 15 to 30 minutes that focus on the real threats faced by employees, including phishing, business email compromise, payment fraud, data management and classification, access and least privilege principles, as well as adherence to GDPR and CCPA regulations, with new content regularly added at no additional charge.
The Adaptive Risk-Based plan further enriches the training process by automatically tailoring it: a lightweight agent observes the applications each employee uses, and AI modifies their training schedule according to a dynamic risk profile that changes with fresh data. Moreover, administrators can design personalized training programs from custom prompts to ensure that they align with the organization’s internal policies and guidelines.
An easy-to-use admin dashboard facilitates the monitoring of assignments, deadlines, completion rates, and scores, catering to the needs of owners, administrators, and employees. With a clear per-user pricing structure billed annually, all training modules are included without any hidden costs, making it a transparent choice. Prospective users may also benefit from a complimentary trial to explore the advantages of the platform for themselves, ensuring they fully understand the value it brings to their organization. This comprehensive approach not only enhances security awareness but also fosters a culture of proactive engagement among employees.

Set up in three days by one person, no onboarding call needed
Date: Jul 29 2026SummaryWe are a small managed services company and had zero formal security awareness training before this. I picked SafeInstinct because I needed something my team would actually complete, not a compliance video nobody watches. Three months in, it does the job. Setup took me three days from signup to the first campaign running, without any vendor hand-holding.
PositiveThe setup is genuinely fast for a security product. I came in from an infrastructure background expecting the usual enterprise onboarding friction and there was none. The content is short enough that people finish it, which is the part most awareness tools get wrong. It also gave us documented training records that we are using as evidence in our [certification] audit preparation, which saved me building that from scratch.
NegativeEnglish only. My team is French-speaking and while everyone gets by, non-native speakers slow down on the written scenarios and I know the material lands less well than it would in their own language. Localisation would remove the main friction I have with it.

Security training that didn’t feel like a checkbox
Date: Jul 30 2026SummaryWe needed security awareness training that people would actually complete and retain. Our previous training sessions had become mere checkboxes, lacking substance and effectiveness. However, we developed a new training material that not only provided valuable information but also strengthened our internal knowledge base.
PositiveIt’s straightforward, and that’s the key. Many security awareness tools overwhelm you with slides that nobody finishes. This one doesn’t. The material is clearly written by knowledgeable individuals, not generic compliance filler. The examples align with real-world situations.
NegativeHaving a mobile app is a significant advantage, especially for our team, which relies heavily on their phones for work. They would gladly spend short periods on their phones during their commutes if they had access to a mobile app.

Easy to use platform that provides peace of mind
Date: Jul 29 2026SummaryI’ve been using SafeInstinct for a while now, and it’s been a good experience. It was quick to get started, and I didn’t have to spend a lot of time figuring things out. The information is presented clearly, so I can quickly see what I need without digging through a lot of menus. So far, it’s been reliable and has given me more confidence that I’m staying on top of things. While I’d love to see a few more customization options in the future, I’m happy with it overall and would recommend it to anyone looking for an easy-to-use solution.
PositiveThe platform is intuitive, easy to set up, and simple to navigate. It provides useful insights in a clear, organized format and makes it easy to stay informed without feeling overwhelmed. I appreciate how reliable and user friendly it is.
NegativeI haven’t experienced any major issues. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to add more customization options for alerts and reports, along with a few more advanced features for users who want additional detail.

SafeInstinct review
Date: Jul 29 2026SummaryGreat overall experience and I liked the ability to trial for free. This is a perfect fit for an SMB that doesn't need gamification and expensive / difficult implementation costs.
PositiveSales Instinct has an intuitive interface and I was in control of my learning in micro modules... no long sessions with videos and cheesy skits. The pricing was transparent and install simple. Cuts to the chase and has the reporting/compliance needed.
NegativeThese trainings are always a bit dry but that is the nature of the material.
