I just really like the look and feel of it & how stress-free it makes my life.

I appreciate the ability to combine all my email accounts into one location, as well as most of the software I use, which streamlines both my workday and my personal time online. Shift has been a game changer in that way, and I highly recommend it to anyone needing that organizing shift in their life.

Honestly, I can't think of anything I didn't like.

Shift is great when it's great! When it's not though it's basically useless. It can be soooo glitchy for my needs. And many times I find myself frustrated and returning to my standard (Chrome) browser to complete certain tasks. This is especially true with WordPress, opening links in new tabs, Shift tends to lose "custom domains" for apps, and often passwords aren't saved. The Wordpress issue is still unresolved nearly 7 months later and it renders the app useless. This is especially hard to swallow now that the price has doubled and I'm paying more fore less functionality.

The concept behind Shift solves a huge problem - having separate workspaces (and therefore logins) for different clients. Overall, the interface is user-friendly and is relatively easy to set up. It makes switching between clients fast and easy.

Some apps are super glitchy or do not work at all, and customer service is extremely slow to address these problems.

I love this interface and it's become an integral piece in optimizing my daily workflows. If you manage multiple online identities/businesses, each with their own set of Google Docs and Sheets, this one reduces time between switching gears and keeps you focused on your work vs setting up for your work.

Managing several business themes and online identities can be tiring when switching between Google accounts and Google drive workflows, Shift makes this a breeze.

As goes with most third party plug-ins in general, sometimes things can get a little glitchy and not load when you need them as the plug-in, but can be bypassed by using a tab in each space instead.

Shift has made my daily work smoother and more efficient. I can check messages, emails, and apps in one place without the usual hassle. It’s definitely helped me stay organized and cut down on distractions.

Shift simplifies my workflow by bringing together my email accounts and other apps in one spot. It’s intuitive to use, and I like how it keeps everything organized so I’m not constantly switching tabs or windows. It saves time and helps me stay focused.

I can’t really think of any major downsides other than wishing it supported even more of the apps I use.

Fantastic, I use everyday and have for years now - huge time saver as everything can be seen and switched between all within one application.

Always signed into email, cal, g-suite for all my accounts simultaneously. Super super efficiency and easy across work, personal, alumni, etc.

Maybe once a week it freezes up and logs you out of one or more gmail, so have to log back in and resets... so if you had a bunch of tabs open good luck. Seems to happen more often when bouncing between wifis and travelling.

Been using Shift for maybe also 4 years now daily. Even if all it had was the email management I would still use it. But having the ability to add workspace with other apps that we use daily is great. (We integrate it with Email, WhatsApp, Asana, Trello and Agency Analytics for daily use)

After almost 4 years of use I can safely say this is one of the best yearly subscriptions that pay for.

I can manage easily all 8 of my work emails from a single desktop app on my Mac. Plus I can add many of the other apps that we use on a daily basis to a workspace.

Sometime the WhatsApp connection disconnects from the integration. Not sure if a WhatsApp issue though or if it signs out after a while of not using.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by endless tabs, scattered apps, and too many logins, Shift is a small change that can create real breathing room in your digital space. I didn’t realize how much time and energy I was wasting until I simplified my setup. This is a tool I didn’t know I needed and now I can’t imagine working without it.

Shift has helped me reduce the digital clutter that used to slow me down. Instead of juggling multiple tabs, logins, and windows, I can now keep everything I need in one place. It feels good to open my computer and not be met with chaos. I especially appreciate how easy it is to toggle between email accounts and apps without losing focus or getting derailed by distractions. It’s a small shift (no pun intended) that’s made my workday feel calmer and more intentional.

Honestly, I’ve found very little to complain about so far. Of course, no tool is perfect for every single person, but for me, Shift has done exactly what I hoped it would. Overall, it’s been a positive experience without any meaningful downsides.

I use Shift daily as I have to use 10-12 apps daily between my work and personal uses. I can be logged in to two accounts on the same app at the same time without having to log in and out. It saves micro amounts of time but it soon adds up. I don't have to have multiple apps open at a time, this is one piece of software to rule them all.

I can have all the apps I need open in one space instead of each individual app open on my laptop and eating too much RAM and slowing down the computer. Not only that, but you can set up different workspaces/accounts in it and if you have two accounts for one app (personal/work) you can be logged in to both accounts on the different workspace and not have log in and out to switch between them. It's a godsend.

Not ever really sure what new apps are being added or when. No public roadmap so not sure what new features are in the pipeline etc. It's a bit opaque in that way unlike most other independent software.

I’ve used Shift for over 6 years and it’s my most-used app. I’ve set up custom groups for work, social, entertainment, and shopping, keeping everything organized and easy to access.

What sets it apart is having alerts from Linear, Notion, Figma, and Google all in one place. It drastically reduces window clutter and helps me stay focused.

The reason I use Shift is that instead of having to continually switch windows to access a number of different apps and tabs in my browser, I access 90% of what I use daily in one app.

It allows me to be more efficient and all my applications and their alerts are in one place.

New applications can switch core features quickly, and sometimes aspects don't entirely work from within the Shift application. Nothing that keeps the app from functioning, just more annoying minor things. However, in the few instances this has happened, there has been a new update to Shift that fixes the issue.

Shift has been a game changer for how I organize my day. It helps me stay on top of client work, communication, tasks, and schedules without feeling overwhelmed. It keeps everything clear and easy to access, which has really helped my productivity.

I love how Shift brings together all of my most-used tools so I can stay focused and work without getting distracted. It makes switching between email, task managers, my calendar, and notes easy and seamless. I also appreciate that I can stay signed in and not have to keep logging in and out.

I don’t love using Shift as a regular browser for web searches or general browsing. I also wish it supported a few more of the apps I use so I could keep everything in one place.

I am a contractor and do a lot of white label work, which means I have multiple emails, calendars and various apps to work with multiple companies. Some are Google mail/calendar and Office 365. Shift allows me to quickly see all my emails, see how many are unread, a unified calendar and individual app access without have multiple browsers open and having to check in consistently throughout the day.

Really I don't have any cons. Very easy to use and implement. I have no cons for this product.

It has been so great since day one. The product has evolved over the years I have been using it and it gets better with every new evolution. I don't know what I would do without it.

I first purchased a Shift subscription to help with managing multiple inboxes. This is mostly how I still use the product and it makes my work life so much easier. No messy switching!

I can't think of anything I don't like. Shift does everything I need it to do.

LOVE SHIFT! I recommend it to literally everyone I meet who is an entrepreneur or involved with many different activities.

Love that I don't need to have tons of tabs for things that I use every single time, I can keep the tabs for research purposes AND I can switch between my emails so if I'm doing work/personal/school research then it doesn't really matter because I can easily do them all at once.

I don't love how much they change the interface I often can feel a little lost when they do that as a disabled person.

I love it, makes me work faster and with ease. This is the perfect app for a business my size to keep me organised.

Sometimes lose windows like google drive and have to log back through.

It's an amazing platform that simplifies switching seamlessly between multiple Gmail accounts and tools.

The only issue I've had is, it's had trouble implementing the Chrome extension Dashlane

The best email client I've ever used. It's safe, simple, it was easy to set up, groups emails from multiple accounts so I can work on one group at a time.

Shift seems to be the best stand-alone email client. It can integrate multiple accounts, with incoming messages automatically grouped into as many as four categories. Implementation was simple. I just entered the account access information, and it imported everything. I rely on it at work every day, to handle email quickly and efficiently and without losing track of any. It just works. I've never had to call customer support. I've tried other email clients, but Shift is the most reliable and the only one that works for me.

Shift had trouble, at times, printing to my PDF editor (PDF-Exchange Editor Plus) but they seem to have fixed it in the latest update. In fact, it's now been several months since I've had this problem and I use Shift throughout the day, every day.

I can't imagine not having this, so that's testimony to how important it is to our team.

We have a portfolio of companies each with its own set of SAAS products and email addresses. We use shift to be able to access all of them quickly without having to manage logging in and out of different tools. It also pulls all of my calendars together in one view. Even as a single email client I find it useful as I can jump between email, Slack, WhatsApp, Trello in one place.

It's a little buggy sometimes but I haven't had a crash for a few versions. They release updates frequently.

Shift offers me better overall email and productivity tool integration. The browser-based environment is intuitive. Outstanding integration with Google Workspace tools. Excellent overall UX/UI. Setup is fast and secure via SSO login. Overall a great value.

I've been a Shift user for 5+ years now. It's fast, reliable and provides me access to all of my Google emails and associated Workspace tools in one convenient interface. Plus, I can load and login to Shift from any desktop (Win or Mac) and enjoy the same interface and access. And since Shift is self-contained, it does not affect the system that I'm accessing it from (no User level or login footprints). Finally, Shift has plugins for 100's of other products and platforms to easily integrate my most used browser based tools. I've recommended Shift to many colleagues, and they love it.

I'm looking forward Shift leveraging the power of AI. I can imagine process automation, content generation and info searching across all of my accounts and tools to further enhance my productivity, creativity and response times. I'm an executive, and having rapid access to info and data when I need it is essential. I hope Shift leverages AI to improve their platform to provide additional analytics and automation for my emails, workspace apps and productivity tools.

Overall, I highly recommend Shift to anyone that uses a computer for multiple reasons. Having Shift help organize your desktop makes life easier.

Shift is an amazing product that brings organization and efficiency into one application. Managing multiple businesses and emails can be difficult, but shift makes it easy with an all-in-one application.

The only thing I don't love is the internet browser UX/UI.

I've been using Shift for 4 years pretty much every day. Most of my work happens in shift and it's made me more productive.

Shift is great for managing multiple inboxes and workspaces. With all your apps/software in one spot, you can stay focused and productive.

Password management could be better and the workspace management can be slightly cumbersome but nothing major.
