Frightening and frustrating. They must have stolen my information and created an account that I never requested.

Absolutely nothing! I never even requested an account. Yet they somehow illegally obtained my credit card account.

I am an unwilling customer. Businesses should NEVER use this as a payment option. I will never support a business that requests payment via Shop Pay. When attempting to make an online purchase, the only option presented was Shop Pay. I logged in to Shop Pay to investigate and found that I have an account that I never requested. Even better, they had all my credit card info auto populated in their system, including a very new credit card. When I tried to contact customer support, the only option to obtain support was to install their app. No thank you! I was able to delete my credit card info from the account I never signed up for, and I think I successfully deleted my account. I have no doubt they will somehow reactivate this. This is all illegal!

HORRIBLE & UNPROFESSIONAL!!

They take the full amount of the purchase out of your account instead of the 4 payment installment that you select and that they say that you are approved for!!

NOTHING this is a SCAM.

No one answers the phone.
I have not received my refund.
Only communicated through email and did not respond in a timely manner or issue is not resolved.
They don't care about your money.

There are no pros.
Over all terrible company.
Do not do business with shop pay!
They need to. be stopped for stealing people's money.

They take your hard earned money. No one has been at all helpful.
Still have not resolved my refund of over $200 and took extra payments from my account when the item was already paid off. Do not do business with shop pay!

When the entire payment went through instead of installment payments, I was incensed. You can't even get Shop to help with it, they tell you to cancel the item with the site you bought from using their service. NEVER AGAIN. I'll stick with Afterpay or Paypal from now on.

I thought I'd love to use this for installment payments. The site does not explain how that works.

I got charged the ENTIRE PAYMENT instead of installments.

Very poor!!! Impossible to work out anything despite proofs, constant emails & for which there will be no response except further demands.

Nothing good about this non-service. There is nothing positive about Shop Pay.

They keep poor records, refuse to respond, continue to incorrectly bill & harass endlessly even though all forms proving payment in full.

Poor. Shop Pay came up as a default payment option for a seller I had previously used. When there were problems, I soon realised there would be no support.

Not a lot. I am not at all impressed with the service offered and would avoid using in the future. Enough said.

Shop Pay will not support you if you have a problem with your seller. PayPal readily steps in if there is a problem; with Shop Pay, you're on your own. If you happen to deal with a rogue trader, your payment is lost.

You can use SHOP PAY/ASURION HOWEVER, do the math...if it does not add up, keep it moving or pay outright for your item.

Shop Pay is useful when making expensive purchases (IF THEY HAVE the payment plan correct, then I would say to use it, other than that. Scam.

Personal experience, I have paid MORE for the item if I relied on their payment plan chart. YOU MUST DO THE MATH ON YOUR own. I called the company that I was purchasing from with my complaint only to find out, they have no control over shop pay. what sense does this make? I am purchasing from YOUR website, not directly from Shop Pay.

Crap. Useless. Liars.don’t trust them. They take fees out of your bank account and say they are pre -auth fees and they are not. A pre auth shouldn’t deduct $ out of your account.

Nothing. Liars and scammers. Not to be trusted. Take fees and hard to get it back. Had to lodge a bank dispute.

Charged my credit card a fee of which they say is a holding authorisation fee and should not show as taken out but lies as it did deduct the fee and I have photos to prove it. DON’T TRUST

Awful. Will never do business with them again. They sided with a scamming company and helped them steal my hard earned money. These people are not to be trusted.

Nothing is good about this scamming, lying company. If I could give 0 stars I would. RUN don't use them.

I was scammed by a furniture company called stunning furniture. They sent me incomplete pieces to the wrong sofa and told me they would send the rest and never did. I contacted shop pay in efforts to get a refund and stop payments and they declined me.

Shop Pay are frauds thieves they are stealing our money. Please contact us with your email reply to this with your email and I will be in touch with you to get your story. You’re not alone if they never gave your refund back to you that means they stole it. I know that they’re doing this to thousands if not hundreds of thousands of customers we will get justice

They are actively and have actively stolen, almost $300 in a refund from my autistic, dying father the merchant credited back flowers from the memorial of my dead mother, and they are actively in half an actively for nine months, now gaslighting us, and giving us all kinds of robotic Non-sensible excuses as to why they haven’t been able to give us the refund back but the merchant claims and has the accounting Forensics that the merchant refunded the money back to Shop Pay and Shop Pay claims they refunded it, but it never ever was ever refunded back to Discover credit card. I have all the accounting Forensics to prove this. They keep trying to blame a dispute that I opened with Discover over them not being able to refund the credit back to discover discover says that lie the biggest lie they’ve ever heard actually because no matter what dispute they opened up on their investigation, it would never prevent shop and pay from allocating the refund back to the Discover card, this has been a nightmare not only that the staff that Max L CEO cowardly lowlife of a man who steals refund money from autistic handicap, hard-working people who are dying. This is the reputation of this company now anyway, the staff employees they have no education they barely speak English and they all have a script that they read and it doesn’t make any sense they’re actively stealing our money, now if they’re actively stealing our money, they’re definitely stealing thousands of other refunds I’m sure so I’m posting this to rally any other customers who want to join me. I am petitioning a class action lawsuit against Shop Pay for harassment from menacing for gaslighting for emotional duress and THEFT of not only my refund but my time and I’m sure thousands of other customers just like me and similar situation where their refunds have just disappeared and never were credited back to them. Please join me? I found an attorney in Chicago, who is willing to take on a class action lawsuit against shop and pay affirm ? There are no positives it’s all a big con. That’s why I posted the con under the pro. This company is vile, toxic fraudulent, and evil shop and pay must be investigated and they must be litigated in a court of law with a mass class action lawsuit I want justice and I know I’m not the only one that wants justice. They are stealing our money.

Horrible!!!! Don't ever, ever use this company!!! You'll never get your money back if you ask for a ask for a refund.

Nothing. Their customer service is pathetic and they refuse to give you refunds. All you get is the runaround.

If you use their installment plan to buy an item and keep the item, there's no issue.
But if you use them and return the item, good luck in ever getting your refund. Once you locate their customer service phone number, which is near impossible, you can't understand what their employees are saying as they can barely speak English. I've sent them numerous emails and all I get is requests for additional documentation, order numbers or suggestions to contact the original vendor (which I already had done). And still. NO refund.

Terrible. I may stop shopping with merchants that use this payment process. It is not sophisticated or user-friendly enough.

I have not found any pros to this product. I am a buyer, not a merchant who uses this payment processing. So this review is from a customer standpoint.

Inflexible, poor integration with some merchants' websites (eg., order history does not correctly transfer). Once you place an order, you are sometimes limited as to what you see when you view it, such as your original payment method (obviously, not your CC number, but at least what type of card you used, so if you're waiting for a refund or credit, you can figure out what card account to access). You can't cancel an order, change an order, or use a discount code in lieu of another promotion.

I have NO CLUE how this company got ahold of my information. They had my credit card / address / etc... When checking out of an online store based in the UK, they popped up and auto filled. I thought it was google or the actual company I was purchasing from working with google. It ended up in a single button purchase that screwed me out of 60 bucks.

In researching what the hell happened, I found out this company had basically tapped into my google account to access all my information. As I never chose to download / install this at all and the credit card information was only 1 month old due to requesting a new card.

This is ILLEGAL and this company should receive a class action law suit. They can all die and go to hell for this completely unethical behavior.

Now if I want to buy an something and it's only via Shop Pay - I just don't buy that item. Won't make that mistake again.

Really can't think of any, their communication was bad and in general, why do we need a middle man when buying an item.

Well, their delivery took ages, so when I returned the item, it never reached them back and they of course refused to help as item never reached them. Delivery companies blame each other and I m the one that paid for the item and got nothing. It was $49 item...

Not very good. With PayPal, I can trust that, if a scammer gets my money, it will be returned. Shop Pay has FAILED miserably!

I can pay in installments as opposed to paying for the entire amount at once. There are no other “pros” to be considered.

Not careful about who they align with. I bought an item and used Shop Pay. They were VERY GOOD about withdrawing my money yet, haven’t done anything to protect me against people who take my money and don’t ship the product I purchased.

This is where PayPal excels! I can’t even get Shop Pay to reply.

I will never buy from a site using Shop Pay. If you are a web retailer, and you use Shop Pay, I will actively avoid your site.

Pros? There are no pros, this is deceptive malware. And because I have to make this 100 characters, I'll say this...MALWARE, SPAM, DECEPTIVE MARKETING PRACTICES, SCUM OF THE EARTH, DIRTBAGS, SLIMEBALLS.... ETC.

If you ever buy from a site that uses Shop Pay, prepare to have your entire identity and email address shared with any other site that uses them as well. As soon as you visit another site that uses Shop Pay, they share your information and now you're on their spam list. This is highly illegal and a violation of CANSPAM. How they aren't shut down is beyond me.

Nothing. I am a very understanding person and will give credit where credit is due. But this company has no pros whatsoever. I tried to think of the smallest pro to write, but honestly can’t find one thing that’s good about this

Very difficult to use. Definitely attempts to steal your money. If you need to pay, please do not use this company. Very unprofessional and not at all legit.

Beware of this company. When you go to make a purchase, the system takes your money out of your account even if the transaction is not approved and you have to wait 3-10 business days before you are refunded. This has happened to me twice and the company blames it on a technical issue. There is no consideration or acknowledgment for their negligence and the overall company I believe is FRAUD..... Please beware don't do business with this company.

Stay away from it! It asks for access to as many emails and payments as possible to "help you" its one scammy phishing app!

App asks for way too many permissions. Such as login details for email and full access to payment passwords. This app definitely is one big scam ripoff.

Very disappointed they are deceiving can’t even get into app and erase my card information, never again.

Nothing they are deceiving. They ignored my my email asked them to cancel order they just plainly ignored my email.
