Reliable Twilio alternative with excellent pricing
Date: Jul 12 2026SummaryWe've been using TextGrid for almost two years for SMS and voice broadcasts in our SaaS platform Campflow. It's a dependable, cost-effective alternative to Twilio. The API compatibility with Twilio made switching easy, and we haven't looked back. If you need reliable messaging without Twilio's price tag, TextGrid is worth a serious look.
PositiveTextGrid follows Twilio's API structure, which made integration straightforward. If you've worked with Twilio before, you already know how to use TextGrid. SMS and voice broadcasting both work reliably. We send thousands of SMS and voice messages per week through our camp management platform and deliverability has been solid. The pricing compared to Twilio is significantly better, which matters at scale.
NegativeTextGrid doesn't have all the extras that Twilio has, like 2FA, flow builders, advanced analytics, or serverless functions. But for SMS, MMS, and voice, it has everything we need.

Reliable, Flexible Texting Platform with Excellent Support
Date: Jul 13 2026SummaryOverall, TextGrid has been a strong and dependable partner for our business. The platform provides the flexibility and reliability we need for customer communication, and the quality of their support team adds significant value. While there are opportunities to improve the user experience and reporting capabilities, we have been pleased with the service and would recommend TextGrid to businesses that need a scalable texting solution.
PositiveTextGrid has been a reliable platform for managing outbound text communication at scale. The system is flexible enough to support our needs.
Their support team is responsive and knowledgeable. When questions or technical issues come up, they are quick to investigate and provide practical solutions.NegativeAdditional self-service tools and more detailed documentation would make it easier to troubleshoot issues or make configuration changes without contacting support. I'm sure some of that varies carrier to carrier.

TWILIO CRUSHER!
Date: Jul 15 2026Summarywe've had a great experience with TextGrid. It's helped streamline our business communications, and the team behind it has been very supportive. Motti has been outstanding to work with and has consistently gone above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly.
PositiveTextGrid has been reliable and easy to use. The platform is straightforward, and support has been excellent. Motti is especially great—always responsive, knowledgeable, and willing to help whenever we have questions or need assistance. Unlike any of the 5 other providers I have worked with.
NegativeNo complaints. There are always small features that could be added over time, but overall we are having a very positive experience.

TextGrid is fantastic for our marketing agency!
Date: Jul 07 2026SummaryWe're a marketing agency and we started off using TextGrid as a backup SMS & phone provider, but quickly grew until all 60+ of our clients are on TextGrid. Our deliverability rates improved, we haven't had any client accounts incorrectly suspended (like with our previous provider) and our usage costs went down by over 50%. I highly recommend TextGrid!
PositiveHere are the pros we've found in using TextGrid:
Ease of use
Great price
Great customer service
Fast response times
Great serviceNegativeI can't think of any cons. Everything works very well and I have no complaints.

One of the worst carriers for sms messaging
Date: Sep 19 2025SummaryThe point of having text grid is for marketing and what’s the point if your messages won’t deliver anyways.
IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO SWITCH FROM TWILIO I BECAUSE IF PRICING I HIGHLY ADVISE TO STAY WITH TWILIO YES THEY ARE MORE EXPENSIVE BUT THEY ARE ALSO MORE ACCURATEPositiveInitially when I heard about text grid I was exited to sign up due to the cost of sending messages being slightly lower than Twilio. TextGrid is by far one of the most complicated and worst carriers to set up with. To transition from Twilio to TextGrid it took me 3 weeks. Their staff is really slow on answering request
NegativeThey don’t have a streamlined process for the set up, most of your messages will never deliver, and when your messages are not delivering they don’t have any automated system to let you know theirs an issue.

Embarrassing
Date: Jul 15 2025SummaryEmbarrassing experience.
In general an embarrassing product. Hard to use and anytime you have a problem or question (which is always) they are so slow to respond.PositiveNothing as a pro
The only reason I had signed up is because you don’t need a2p for Canadians to send smsNegativeHard to setup

Pretty Difficult to setup and product is not market ready yet
Date: Sep 30 2024SummaryIn the start, I was pretty excited to use the product but once I signed up I faced difficulties in setup. After setup, I wasted a lot of money to test the product. Once I registered with A2P, it ran fine for 2 days and after that, almost 40% of my messages were not delivering, and Support gave me stupid excuses. When I asked about the process of canceling they just deleted my account. I would rate the product as underdeveloped and not ready for market. It's poor
PositiveThey catch you with price, Inbound messaging is free but it doesn't make sense if you're not able to deliver half of your message and it keeps getting failed
NegativeNo support.
