ABSOLUTE JUNK
Date: Jan 02 2026SummaryThe software and the company are ABSOLUTE JUNK.
Summary:
- the software doesn’t work
- their only support is through email, and takes up to FIVE BUSINESS DAYS
Details:
- I am a lifetime computer programmer and techie
- this junk software has been sitting for hours now saying “Looking for devices” when the device is attached
- Windows explorer can see it as “Apple phone”
- I could copy the data from it using a standard copy, and got a full copy of the phone, in folders with names like 201203_ and 201203_
But this junk software can’t see it.
I rebooted everything, Run as administrator, have a USB cable AND wifi connected to both, checked their General Settings for Wifi enabling and everything else, etc
NO support, NO working software, and now the fight to get my money back.
WASTE OF TIME.PositiveI didn't like anything.
Negative- the software doesn’t work

A lot of issues
Updated: Oct 07 2025SummaryNot worth the $70.00 for something that will not stay running, and tech support is hard to find. You will end up leaving a message.
PositiveIf it would stay connected it could be a decent program. The options offered for saving are good. Visually it looks good
NegativeIssues of it finding my iPhone. Have to shut off phone then restart it. Then in the start of saving messages it says it can not find my phone.

iPhone to Windows PC: It works
Date: Sep 01 2025SummaryTouchcopy
As the software reviewer for the PBS program Computer Chronicles and an editor of Windows Magazine and Winmag.com, I have seen scores of software user interfaces. On a scale of sublime to ridiculous, most were ridiculous. Not TouchCopy. There was a file on my iPhone that had ceased to exist anywhere else. Not music; I leave the ethics of music transfer to others. It was an MP3 file from college which I wanted to post on the Internet. I tried several supposed “transfer from your iPhone to your PC” applications that were unusable. I didn’t even have to RTFM for TouchCopy. I attached my iPhone to my Windows PC, opened the program, and a few minutes later I had recovered my file. Unprecedented ease of use in this sub-area of file handing. Heartily doesn’t suffice for how much I recommend it. And I did it with the free version. My policy is: if it works, buy it, as a thank-you to the developers. I suggest you do that, even if you only need it once.PositiveEase of use. Intelligible UI. Accomplished the task with the free version. Accomplished a single task other programs failed to do. Reasonable price, especially if used regularly.
NegativeThere was no problem with this software in my experience.

Just doesn't work!
Date: Jun 18 2024SummaryI think the above explains it all. I have wasted over an hour on this for nothing. This is a 0 out of 10 experience. I'm not sure why you want me to type more.
PositiveNothing! it did not work. How can I give any pros if it didn't work. I didn't even get to try it because it crashed i-tunes which was required to find my phone.
NegativeEvery time it tried to find iTunes which was open and running, i-tunes crashed. Restarted computer, iPhone, reinstalled the program. Nothing. Epic fail. I was hoping for a fix for this. Disappointing.

I use TouchCopy regularly for a backup of my devices, great app
Date: Jul 05 2024SummaryFor me TouchCopy has always been simple to use and it works well. When I needed help, the support staff has got me going quickly. I’m grateful for their help over the years and I can highly recommend TouchCopy and the company.
PositiveI've been using TouchCopy for a long time, starting with an iPod classic and progressing through various iPhones, from the iPhone 4 to the my current iPhone 13 Pro. I rely heavily on my devices for work and personal life.
I use TouchCopy quite regularly for a backup of my devices, I find it more reliable than iCloud backups. Also, I’m happier having a backup on my computer rather than in the cloud.NegativeI have had a few issues with my activation code locking out, guess it must be a security feature. I have found the Wide Angle Software customer service team helpful in resolving this.
