PositiveObviously anyone can use and the info provided to the company is not verified. Easy for identity thieves to use.
Negative0 customer service reps. I'm not sure if there are any people who work there since I've tried to email security systems and one other email given on the website but NO ONE will answer back about someone using my info to buy crypto. I guess identity theft is ok for crypto users for this company.

Warning - Don't trust Transak

WARNING - DON'T TRUST TRANSAK
Placed an order for AVAX at 11am @ $35 per Avax. Funds left bank immediately (confirmed by bank)
Transak had my order stuck processing for 8 hours (due to technical issues) . The live agent advised I would get the crypto at the price of the order. This was a complete lie. Transak fulfilled the order 8 hours later at $39 per Avax.
Fortunately in my case the total amount was small but I'm writing this here as warning for anyone that could potentially lose huge amounts of money on the buy or sells side because of TRANSAK shady moves!
Raised a complaint/investigation with a promised update within 24 hours which has not happened!
Please use another provider other than this shady company.
To note: I've used Transak for 2 years at least without issue so really expected them to sort this out but seems they are not willing
UPDATE: Day 4 and still waiting for a solution to this?? Is this acceptable? Imagine if this happened to someone where the discrepancy was hundreds of thousands!
UPDATE 2: Final reply from Transak.
Pathetic and disappointing. Others should be careful with this company. Some many lose thousands or more because of their processing time.
This is how they treat a very frequent custom of more than 2 years...Will end by relationship with them and now use Moonpay or Banxa

TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION
Date: Feb 25 2023SummaryI am speechless with the lack of proactiveness from such a big third party for Splinterlands. I remain hopeful that we will be able to resolve this as I have written to both Transak and Splinterlands.
PositiveNothing positive that I could find thus far with their communication or lack of proactive approach. The previous transactions were okay, but it takes one poor one to leave a bitter taste in a customer's mouth.
NegativeMy purchase was failed on the 24th - no one contacted me, instead they suspended my account, did not reply to my initial email to check what is going on about the purchase and waited for me to send a second email more than a day later to just inform me that the account is suspended. No proactiveness what so ever, no information, no one emailed me even an automatic message to check if everything is ok, if they have any sort of concerns abbout the transaction or bank or about the security, whatever. No such thing happened. And now on top of their not responsiveness, lack of proactive behavior, they say the account is suspended and ask me if I am satisfied with the service. Really? I will not rest until I receive some kind of an explanation, until I have my account back and an actual human being instead of a half filled macro explains to me what happened and how do we make it better!

PositiveNothing. Literally nothing. They never fulfilled my order. Their customer service is trash. They are a horrid company.
NegativeI tried to make my first purchase, they took my money and didn't fulfill my order. After I reached out to customer service they said they suspended my account and refused to give any reason. This is after they had my picture, my driver's license and my social security number. SCAM.

Terrible experience with Transak

PositiveFirst day I was able to send money. I have nothing else to say as a pro for this company. Cannot continue using them.
NegativeI set up my account with Transak. Sent money that took just under an hour each time that day. After that day, the next day, Transak froze my account. I did nothing wrong. They gave me no reason why. I talked to Garvit through messaging. He did not see why or tell me why. The risk assessment has notified me that I can no longer use their company. I sent a few thousand and this is what happened. My money, my accounts, kicked out for not reason. Find a better company to work with. I expect there will need to be management and policy changes at this company. Nothing like doing nothing wrong and getting kicked out. Feel like I don't have equal rights. Trustpilot sent this to me "our decision is final and we will not be able to discuss further details". Again, I did nothing wrong. I can verify who I am, my accounts, everything. They still have not given me a reason why and they won't even discuss it. Horrible to do business with any company with an attitude and a decision making process like this.

They do not approve KYC and do not give explanation

PositiveI did not have enough time to check it,, they did not let me because they denied my KYC, no reason, no answer, just a bot-mail.
NegativeThey ask you for the KYC (which they later deny) to keep your data and possibly sell it, sounds like a scam... Like other users I read here, they denied me the KYC without any explanation.
