It makes it quick and easy to schedule the team and focus attention on other areas! This product reinforces the idea that sometimes simpler is the better option. It isn't overcomplicated and finicky like others I have used.

The ease and convenience, such a user friendly software. The staff enjoys the simplistic approach to viewing their schedule and sending time off requests.

I haven't found much I haven't enjoyed, I do need to memorize the easy keyboard prompts

Doesn’t account for lunch breaks. And I would love to be able to put managers with salary in a different category.

So, so happy we upgraded to When I Work. It has simplified the scheduling department, making changes easier and less time consuming on management. Our employees love that it's mobile and they can view their time card in real time.

We love that it's mobile, employees can view their schedule from anywhere. We also love that employees can communicate with each other easily, and swap shifts with a few clicks.

We wish all departments could view each others schedules.

Overall, we've had a wonderful experience with When I Work, from our demo to application in practice. The program has everything we need and for a very reasonable price!

Highly recommend this app for all businesses! I own an ultrasound studio and a laundromat. Useful for both and easy to use.

It is easy for my employees to use. It is intuitive for them to drop, switch or request shift changes. They can clock in and clock out on the app which helps me easily track their time especially when it’s payroll time.

No issues with this app. Easy to register employees.

It has really streamlined our process. It make it easier for our staff to communicate and come together, it keeps everything all in one place.

There are so many amazing features. I really love that it empowers our employees to be in charge of their own schedules and their time. It's nice to have the employees take charge. It brought our staff together in one platform.

It is a lot to learn, so it can get overwhelming sometimes.

It would be my first recommendation for any company in need of a complex scheduling platform. It is reliable, not glitchy, and has solid functionality on the desktop and mobile side. Love the customization options for labeling different clients, locations, job titles, etc. it really makes it work the way a custom scheduling system would.

When I Work is the most reliably well-rounded scheduling program we have used. We have searched for the best option and tried different programs, but always come back to When I Work. My favorite thing is the high functionality of the mobile app. Being able to do so much not tied to your desktop is a huge perk!

Honestly the only thing I don’t like is you can’t link shifts together when two people are scheduled for the same shift (teamed shift scheduling).

First time using an app for scheduling and the ease of it is very convenient. Like that all staff have access.

This has been a positive experience for myself and the staff. It has not been long and still implementing our to all.

Being able to have multiple options for the staff on how to view schedules, who and when.

As much as I like the multiple options to view, some these seem cumbersome to work with and figure out the filters

Very good, I can easily use this tool to monitor hours and needs of the company shifts, as well as look at gaps for possible hiring needs.

It's easy to add, modify or delete users/shifts and the color coding helps determine which positions are colored. It's nice that it can be printed, too.

It was a little busy looking at first until I got used to the layout.

Love it overall! Super easy to train my staff on how to drop shifts, swap, etc. Love the amount of notifications as well

Lack of integration with Gusto payroll- would make it easier if I can just export and pay.

Overall, I enjoy the ability to schedule staff in one place in a quick and easy manner. Being able to see everyone's shifts for the day/week in one place helps communicate who is on duty to our entire team.

Overall my experience is that this could be a good platform to use but I still think there is a lot that needs to be enhanced to make it a great system to use.

Like the ease of moving people to cover shifts. The color coating of the shifts is nice for ease of seeing who is working what assignment or shift.

Can't look at an overall sign up list of people that signed up for open shifts.

I never want to go back to the old scheduling method! The convivence of checking shifts and knowing the schedule is visible to everyone 24/7 is reassuring, when managing a bigger team of employees.

The app was very easy to learn how to use! At first I was unsure how I would adjust everyone to the virtual scheduling, but now, I absolutely love it! The way employees are able to send and receive chats (memos, reminders, tasks, etc), request vacation time, and switch schedules with other employees are all features that keep my management tasks in check. The distance settings for checking in and out (within proximity of the workplace) holds accountability for employees to be on the worksite on time!

I wish there was a way for staff and/or management to alter their shifts to "sick day" and for employees to swap shifts, when there is the need to do a last minute shift change.

Overall, the team loves the convenience of clocking in and out from their mobile device. It helps them keep up with their time and I love that they have access to their schedule at anytime.

I love the easy layout of the software and how it is easy to transition from one thing to the next. The app makes it easy to follow up as well.

I would love to copy a shift from one day and paste to another.

I like That I can see the whole weekly schedule of employees, who is working where, and what shift! This is a game changer for us.

I honestly don't have any issues...as a new user this really changed how we operate, how the whole company operates. We all see the same thing in real time.

Overall, it's a great scheduling system for our team and is very easy to train/learn. I really enjoy the filtering options to see who is working which positions or locations. It also makes it very easy to edit multiple shifts at one time.

I like the different customizations from color coding, shift templates and reoccurring shifts. It was very easy to set up and implement into our daily operations. I also really enjoy the announcements we can add for individual dates to inform our team of staff meeting or if we are closed.

I wish the availability section was based around when the employee was available, rather than when they are not.

We use When I Work for three of our stores and it helps us have a great view of our staffing. It is very flexible and easy to use.

Friendly user interface, easy to create schedules, and easy for team members to make changes and requests.

There is not a way to hide notes listed on one employee to another without creating a new skill. It would be a great setting to have to just allow team members to see their own notes.

Would highly recommend. Great value and functionality for low price. Different tiers available depending on your team size.

Easy scheduling, monthly timesheets — makes payroll that much easier! We've tried many different scheduling platforms and this is the one we're sticking with!
