Best CMS to create a WordPress website quickly.

    Date: Jul 04 2021
    Summary

WordPress is a beneficial open-source and secured CMS; we can quickly create/modify websites by installing the in-built theme and plugins. Easy to understand and use it.
I highly recommended it to the developers. Thank you, WordPress!

    Positive

WordPress CMS provides the facility to create the website easily. It gives a built-in theme and plugins, which helps to make the site more attractive and featureful. We can easily download and install the theme and plugins on the website.
It provides the pre-built plugins to implement the features quickly, like Contact Form 7, WooCommerce plugin for e-commerce projects, Popular social media plugin, Security plugins, etc... SEO Ranking plugin is also available to increase the traffic on the website.
End-user can easily handle and modified the features/content by the admin end.

    - We can make the website quickly using the WordPress CMS tool.
    - It provides pre-built plugins and themes. So we can use it directly by installing only.
    - Theme and Plugin customization feature. We can change the look and feel of the websites.
    - It helps to improve site ranking by installing the Rank Math SEO plugin.
    - Admin end is also easy to manage
    - User-interface is simple and easy to use it.
    - Open-source CMS

    Negative

The trial version should be available for paid themes and plugins. The rest of the things looks good to me.

The Only Way To Go For Websites

    Date: Jul 07 2021
    Summary

I have been using WordPress for well over 10 years now and it's just amazing. Everyone from beginners to experts can put it to use. Highly recommend!

    Positive

WordPress is the only way to go for creating a website. It's easy enough to use, and the features are endless!

    Negative

The only negative I can think of would be that it's "so" robust, it could be overwhelming trying to figure out which direction to go when just getting in to it. But once you understand it, there's nothing better.

Wordpress as a leading application for content creation on websites

    Date: Mar 22 2021
    Summary

In general terms, the program continues to position itself as a leader in terms of creation in terms of writing and complements to it; adding links, images, video, among others. However, although to obtain an extension to exploit its potential plug-ins are needed, you can not always acquire the necessary benefits for your needs through them without a programmer who knows the subject.

    Positive

Wordpress is a web creation program that offers you the possibility of being the channel that allows you to create and modify, without much technical knowledge on the subject, web pages, online stores, blogs and many more. It provides us, for less knowledgeable people, default templates that facilitate its usability.

    Negative

Since Wordpress was created primarily for blog writers, with the boom in the field of digital marketing and all its extensions, the program has not been fully adapted to this type of progress, therefore, requires a lot of extra plug-ins to be able to exploit in sales and positioning functions.

    Great for self-hosted blogging

    Date: May 15 2021
    Summary

If you want to blog, get your own server and self-host Wordpress. It does not get any better in terms of base system reliability, extensibility through add-ons and community. A browser extension for blog posting would be great. Be aware of self-host hacking attempts. Install security add-ons first!

    Positive

-functionality is fantastic. with plenty of add-ons, it's possible to tune it to your specific needs
    -great, active community
-stable base software (watch out for add-ons, backup before!)
-full functionality for free (if self-hosted)
-great mobile app for mobile posting

    Negative

-can become a performance hog (if self-hosted and you install too many add-ons)
-add-on quality control should be better.
-no external blog editors available (or browser extensions)

One of the old greats of blogging

    Date: Nov 03 2020
    Summary

I've used Wordpress on and off for years, for a number of different purposes, both professionally and for personal projects. I would say it's most similar to Blogger, and Medium if you squint, but far more customizable. It's a great place to get out lengthy, in depth information to your audience and get more meaningful engagement via longer conversations and would likely appealing to an older demographic. These days, unless there's a major shift in how younger people are using the net, I can't see it being a huge drawn for the under 25 crowd and Wordpress having been around a long time really shows when you're dealing with it to get everything you want situated. There's a big learning curve if you're just getting into this thing, but it may be pretty easy to use if you've used sites like Blogger or Livejournal back in the day. For the right audience and right type of project, it's still one of the best out there.

    Positive

One of the things that made Wordpress stand out from other blogger services when blogging started really getting big was the just the sheer amount of options and ways you could customize Wordpress. It's still highly customizable to this day. Blogging is simple and easy, and if you just want it for a personal account without any of the bells and whistles, it'll only take you a few minutes to get everything up and running. For business, you'll need to put more work into getting how you want to look, but you most certainly can. As more businesses have focused on short form interaction with customers, there are advantages to having more in depth, lengthy content and conversations with your audience and Wordpress will definitely get you the ability to do that, if that's what you're seeking. You can easily link your shop and other relevant sites, such as your Instagram or Twitter and put those links wherever you want them.

    Negative

Unlike many of the template designs out there, and while you certainly can find plenty of templates for Wordpress, you'll still be putting in more effort than other places to get everything in order. Some may find blogging content doesn't get them the hits that easier to use platforms like Instagram might and some aspects of the back end of Wordpress are a bit dated. There's a pretty steep learning curve for those who aren't used to using blogging services like this and for customizing.

Great, Continually Developing Content Management System

    Date: Jun 29 2020
    Summary

As a small business owner using Wordpress is a no brainer. While it was originally developed as a blogging platform, (which is how we used it back in 2007-2008, it really took off as a light weight content management system (CMS) and we've used it on all the websites we've developed for our two companies and personal/profession sites. I'm not a graphics or UI/UX designer so it makes sense to buy a well developed and supported theme/theme base. Beyond the CMS function, we've used Wordpress for advanced surveys and forms, as a Learning Management System and as a knowledge base. Is Wordpress perfect for all these applications? No, but with all the plugins and themes it is highly extensible and can manage all these tasks given enough server resources and optimization. That being said, you host is just as important. We've used several different hosting companies which are all good in their own way, but a small business owner that doesn't have a lot of time, but wants tighter control over their website should find a host that can help manage your installation (doing automatic backups, upgrades and is Wordpress focused.) We've tried Joomla and Drupal (albeit a decade ago) and we found that they were "too much" for what we needed.

    Positive

The wide range of add-on/plugins, Themes and customization. As an open source project, Wordpress is continually being examined for security flaws. Several large companies have a vested interest in Wordpress's security and continued development like Automattic. Hosting providers and CDN companies are tightly integrating Custom Wordpress Installations which helps with further security.

    Negative

I'm not a fan of the Block Editor thats been rolled out over the last couple of years. I'm not sure if is because I don't like change, or it doesn't flow. I also like to use the text editor, not the visual editor to see the formatting on the backend. There are almost too many options/themes which use so many different "back ends". If you choose a theme that is no longer supported or the backend is no longer supported you may need to make further investments in time and money changing you theme.

The best free CMS solution out there!

    Date: Jun 10 2020
    Summary

I've used WordPress to create my personal blog. I'm sure there are several other options out there that could have made it easier for me, but I did save cash by going for WordPress and being of a technical bent of mind I actually enjoyed building my first website.

    Positive

    - WordPress gives you complete control of your site, this is of great help when you need to shift your platform to a different web hosting service.
    - The entire community around WordPress is diverse and amazing. There are tons of themes and templates to choose from.

    Negative

It's not a no-brainer drag and drop design interface, in fact, the technically aligned might have an edge. People generally get accustomed to HTML and CSS in the process of setting up WordPress.
