    The Best Way to Send Funds Hands Down

    I have used Moneygram, Western Union and various others platforms to send money to a missionary we support in Nicaragua but the fees are generally high and time to be available for pickup are long. A friend of mine suggested I try Xoom since I have a PayPal account so I did. Holy mackerel, it was super easy and super fast! Funds were almost immediately available to my friend in Nicaragua at a bank branch near to him, plus the Nicaraguan bank did not charge any additional fees to him when picking up the money. I sent 900 dollars for less than 10 dollars in total fees, and it was available for pickup in minutes. No other service comes close to this!

    The only potential drawback is that you have to have an existing PayPal account tied into your personal bank account prior to using Xoom.
