What is Zemam?
Zemam is an all-encompassing, cloud-based ERP solution tailored for small and medium-sized enterprises in Egypt and the MENA region, primarily aimed at Arabic-speaking users. Its architecture is founded on a strong IFRS-compliant double-entry accounting framework that efficiently integrates Egyptian VAT and direct e-invoicing via the Egyptian ETA, all while ensuring a complete audit trail is maintained. The point-of-sale (POS) system for retail and restaurants functions entirely offline and syncs automatically, guaranteeing uninterrupted sales processes. Inventory management is adaptable, featuring costing methodologies such as WAC or FIFO, and it allows for tracking of batches and expiry dates across multiple warehouses and locations. Real-time posting to a centralized general ledger encompasses a variety of operations, including sales, purchases, treasury management, cheque processing, installment plans, and multi-currency transactions in accordance with IAS 21, alongside capabilities for manufacturing, fixed asset oversight, human resources, payroll, and customer relationship management. A nearly complete mobile app and a desktop POS system enhance Zemam's accessibility for users both in the field and at checkout locations. With a right-to-left Arabic-first interface that also accommodates English users, Zemam integrates multi-tenant data isolation, role-based access controls, and organized approval workflows. Users can effortlessly import their data using Excel and benefit from onboarding support, allowing them to start using the platform at no cost and without requiring a credit card, making it a viable choice for enterprises in the region. Good ERP for daily business management
Updated: Jul 12 2026SummaryZemam helped us organize our daily work better. Before using it, we were spending more time following inventory, accounting and employee information manually. Now everything is in one system, which made tracking much easier and reduced mistakes. We also save time because we don't need to enter the same data in different places. It still takes some time for new users to learn all the features, but overall we are happy with the system and it works well for our business.
PositiveWhat I like most is that everything is in one place. We use it for accounting, inventory, sales, purchasing, HR, CRM, POS and the mobile app. The reports are clear and easy to understand, and this helped us follow our business better. The accounting module also made it easier to understand our numbers even without depending on an accountant all the time. The system is easy to use after the first learning period, and it saves us a lot of time because all modules are connected together.
NegativeThe first setup took some time because it was our first ERP system. We also needed a short training to understand how everything works. Some screens have many options, so at the beginning it was a little confusing. After using it for a while, it became much easier.

Solid Arabic accounting system with ETA support
Date: Jul 10 2026SummaryOverall it's been a good experience. It replaced two or three separate tools I was using before and gave me a clear picture of my business from one place. For a small or medium business in Egypt that needs proper Arabic accounting with VAT and e-invoicing, I'd recommend giving it a try.
PositiveWhat I like most is that it's built in Arabic from the start, not just translated, so my team learned it quickly. Everything is connected — when I make a sale, the inventory and the accounts update on their own. The Egyptian VAT and the e-invoicing (ETA) work without any extra hassle, and the support team actually replies in Arabic when I need them.
NegativeI'd like a few more ready-made report templates.
