Streamline your freight operations, enhance efficiency, and accuracy.TIO functions as a sophisticated operating system tailored for freight forwarders, creating a seamless connection between your email inbox and your Transportation Management System (TMS) to streamline coordination: it analyzes incoming shipment emails, links them to active jobs, and fills TMS records for team approval. This system adeptly oversees every step in the shipping process, which encompasses tasks such as obtaining quotes prior to booking, approving reservations, gathering pre-alerts, preparing ISF 10+2, assessing risks for delayed freight and detention, scheduling truck dispatches, crafting arrival notifications, managing customs documentation, reconciling invoices with rates, and finalizing lots. All entries generated within the TMS undergo a meticulous review process and require endorsement from a specified team member before TIO can make any updates, safeguarding against any automatic submissions. TIO is designed to work harmoniously with systems like CargoWise, Magaya, Descartes, GoFreight, and any TMS that is compatible with REST or SOAP APIs, generally allowing for installation to be completed in under a week for most freight forwarding companies. Typically, freight forwarders handle between 80 to 200 shipments on a monthly basis, and the manual interventions needed to coordinate between the inbox and TMS—like reading emails, relaying information, re-entering data, and conducting follow-ups—usually demand about 8 to 12 minutes for each shipment. Through the automation of these repetitive actions, TIO effectively minimizes the duration spent on manual coordination, thereby enabling teams to concentrate on more high-level tasks and enhance overall productivity. Furthermore, this shift not only streamlines operations but also improves accuracy in the shipping process, fostering better service delivery for clients.
