What is EstateWorks?

EstateWorks delivers a robust solution for case management and workflow operations specifically designed for law firms specializing in Trust & Estate, as well as for banks, trust companies, and various fiduciary entities. This software improves the estate settlement, administration, and planning functions by integrating essential information about cases, contacts, roles, workflows, tasks, deadlines, and financial documents into a cohesive platform. Users can easily create reusable checklist templates, assign roles for task delegation, set dependencies between tasks, and tailor tasks to meet the needs of individual cases. Furthermore, the software includes dashboards, calendars, alerts, and reporting features that empower teams to track progress, manage deadlines, and evaluate workloads across the entire organization. EstateWorks also supports the creation of documents and forms, offers access to curated state probate forms, and facilitates integration with valuation and tax-preparation software for seamless data sharing. Designed to complement existing practice-management, billing, and fiduciary-accounting systems, it significantly boosts overall operational efficiency in handling trust and estate issues. By optimizing these workflows, EstateWorks enables users to concentrate on enhancing the value delivered to their clientele while ensuring a smoother operational experience. Ultimately, this leads to a more effective and organized approach to managing complex estate matters.

What is Bancroft?

Bancroft is a cloud-based estate planning platform tailored for financial advisors, registered investment advisors (RIAs), and firms, which simplifies the creation and management of estate documents for client households. Advisors can invite clients to a personalized portal where guided questionnaires for each document automatically populate relevant household details. This solution is equipped to generate a range of state-specific legal documents, such as wills, revocable trusts, powers of attorney, HIPAA authorizations, and other essential papers, while also giving advisors a detailed dashboard to track document progress and outstanding tasks. Furthermore, it includes trust-funding workflows that enhance the efficiency of asset retitling, beneficiary updates, and deed assignments, complemented by draft letters awaiting advisor approval. Among its many functionalities, Bancroft provides a secure Digital Safe for safeguarding household records, supports trust modifications, and offers visual aids for blended families to understand potential outcomes based on the order of death of either spouse. Importantly, although Bancroft delivers these software tools, it does not operate as a law firm, and users are advised to seek personalized legal counsel outside of the platform for specific needs. Ultimately, with its comprehensive set of features, Bancroft aspires to improve the estate planning experience for both advisors and their clients, fostering a more structured and effective approach to estate management while ensuring that users have the necessary resources at their fingertips.
