AuctionMethodAuctionMethod is white-label auction software built on a flat-fee model: no commissions, no per-lot fees, no platform skim, and no contract, so clients keep the revenue from every sale instead of splitting it with the platform. Since 2012, AuctionMethod has also offered custom auction software development for auction businesses whose workflows do not fit an off-the-shelf platform. Based in Massachusetts, serving the U.S., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, AuctionMethod works with auctioneers, estate liquidators, farm and heavy equipment, industrial, salvage and recycling, non-profit, corporations, retail liquidators, auto/car dealers, real estate, arts and collectibles, and single-use auction businesses. Clients keep 100% ownership of their bidder lists, seller lists, item data, images, and transaction history on a fully white-label auction website rather than a shared marketplace listing. AuctionMethod has earned the SourceForge Spring 2026 Top Performer Award in Auction Software and is rated 4.9/5 on Capterra and SourceForge, with a 94% renewal rate. The platform handles catalog and lot management, consignor setup, bidder registration, invoicing, payment processing, tax handling, and reporting, and supports auction event types including timed online auctions, simulcast auctions, blind timed auctions, catalog-only, fixed-price, and perpetual events. For live, rapid-fire simulcast auctions, latency is critical: AuctionMethod specializes in real-time speed under one second so online bidders do not miss the auctioneer's hammer, running on infrastructure that is fully hosted with daily backups, auto-scaling for high traffic, and security updates included, with 100% uptime tracked on a public status page. Pricing starts at $100/mo with a $250 one-time setup charge and is published publicly, with a 30-day free trial and no credit card required.

FolksMost HR software is built for the US market and adapted for Canada as an afterthought — missing native payroll compliance, storing data on American servers, and offering no French-language support. Folks is different. A Canadian-owned platform designed from day one for the way Canadian businesses actually run. Folks handles CRA-compliant payroll natively: automatic T4 and RL-1 generation, ROE filing to Service Canada, CPP/QPP/CPP2 and EI deductions, multi-province tax calculations, WSIB/WCB, Ontario EHT, and direct deposit — no third-party payroll provider needed. The platform also covers HRIS, applicant tracking with AI-powered candidate matching and integrations with Indeed, LinkedIn, Jobillico, and Talent.com, plus performance management with 360° evaluations. SOC 2 Type 2 certified, with all data hosted exclusively in Canada — governed by PIPEDA and provincial privacy laws, not the US CLOUD Act. Fully bilingual in English and French. Plans start at $6/employee/month. 1,200+ Canadian SMBs across manufacturing, construction, healthcare, non-profit, and professional services already made the switch.

DNSimpleThe automatic process begins immediately once you transfer or add a domain to your account. You gain access to trusted and established libraries that streamline your tasks. This configuration significantly reduces the likelihood of your application facing interruptions from DDoS attacks. Additionally, you can improve the redundancy of your zones by allowing them to be duplicated across different DNS providers. Moreover, any emails sent to your domain can be conveniently forwarded straight to your existing inbox. There are no limits on the number of records you can hold within your zones, offering flexibility in management. Each transfer of a domain provides an extra year added to its registration period. To register, transfer, or renew domain names, a DNSimple subscription is required. It's important to understand that the costs related to domain registration, transfer, and renewal are distinct from your subscription fees. This thorough approach guarantees that your management of domains is both efficient and effective, allowing you to focus on other aspects of your business. To maintain optimal performance, regular monitoring of your DNS settings is also recommended.
What is Fourwaves?
Fourwaves is conference management software for academic conferences: abstract submissions, peer review, registration, event website, program and conference app in one platform, built for researchers at universities, scientific societies and research networks.
Fourwaves runs academic conferences of any size, from international society meetings to departmental research days.
Who it serves
Organizing committees of faculty and graduate students, staff at scientific societies and associations, research office coordinators and professional conference organizers. Events range from research days to multi-track congresses, in person, online or hybrid.
How it works
A call for abstracts opens with a submission form that authors complete and revise until the deadline. Reviewers score each submission in their own portal, single or double-blind, against the committee's criteria. Accepted work feeds the program, the abstract booklet and the app with no re-keying, and a schedule change shows on the event website and in the app at the same time.
Registration forms handle registration types, early-bird rates, discount codes, taxes, invoices and refunds. Card payments land in the organizer's own Stripe, PayPal or institutional gateway account.
After the event, organizers issue certificates of attendance, export data to Excel or through the API, and keep the event archived. Cloning it gives next year's committee a head start.
Plans
Starter is free and covers 25 abstract submissions a year. Essential and Advanced are flat yearly subscriptions sized by submission volume, and Pro is quoted for larger or multi-event organizations. Registrations are unlimited on every plan.
Company
The team behind Fourwaves started in 2012, when its founders were PhD students running their own conference. The company is based in Quebec City, Canada, keeps data in the province of Quebec, and answers support in English and French, with a median first reply under 5 minutes.
