What is GitUp?

Work efficiently, securely, and without the headache that often accompanies version control. GitUp has arrived, bringing to life the Git interface you have always desired, enabling you to see your complex network of branches and merges with stunning clarity. Any changes you make, whether they are major or minor, are immediately reflected in GitUp's visual graph, which means you won't have to deal with refreshing or waiting. Just select a commit and hit the spacebar to quickly access its details and differences. GitUp ensures complete and transparent management of your local checkout, making it easy to reverse any unwanted changes. Whether you're dealing with light-hearted decisions like margaritas or more serious actions like executing a risky command such as sudo rm -rf /, GitUp simplifies the undoing of your recent actions to a mere cmd-z. The Snapshot feature acts like a Time Machine, preserving a history of every modification made to your repository, allowing you to return to any previous state with ease. You have the power to rewrite, split, delete, and rearrange commits, as well as perform fixups and squashes, cherry-pick, merge, and rebase—all at incredible speeds, ensuring a smooth experience for developers. With such versatility, this tool is tailored to give you the agility and efficiency necessary for effective project management in your development workflow. Embrace the convenience that GitUp offers and elevate your coding experience to new heights.

What is GitTree?

GitTree is a visual Git client crafted for developers operating on macOS, Windows, or Linux platforms. It streamlines commit management through features like a graphical commit history, a diff viewer, and options to stage changes at the file, hunk, or line level. Additionally, it provides an array of branch management tools, including merging, interactive rebasing, conflict resolution, and stashing, along with support for worktrees, submodules, and Git LFS. Users benefit from worktree cards that illustrate branches and modifications, while the Resume and Attention functionalities aid in revisiting previous checkouts and pinpointing any blocked tasks. Moreover, the Lost & Found feature enables the retrieval of commits that do not have branch references, and the What Changed option allows users to compare the states of different branches across historical modifications, accompanied by local secret warnings to notify about potential credentials before committing or pushing changes. The Free plan allows access to the fundamental local Git capabilities for both private and commercial repositories, while the Pro version expands features by integrating accounts from platforms like GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, and Azure DevOps, supporting pull requests and CI/CD workflows. This version also includes Repo Insights, AI drafting, and Nour, which is designed to work alongside a coding-agent CLI that users must install separately. In summary, GitTree is meticulously designed to optimize and simplify the Git workflow for developers, ultimately making version control processes more effective and accessible.
