What is IPE System?

Mercer has played a pivotal role in helping numerous organizations unlock substantial business value by deepening their comprehension of the various roles that constitute their unique frameworks. The Mercer International Position Evaluation (IPE) provides a detailed and easily understandable methodology, serving as an essential tool for job and organizational design. In light of the increasing requests from Mercer clients for knowledge transfer and support regarding IPE, we have initiated an EMEA-wide program featuring IPE Public Courses. This initiative not only meets the needs of our clients but also allows other HR professionals and managers the chance to explore innovative and more effective job evaluation techniques, which are crucial for developing and maintaining job structures. Our one-day course offers a thorough examination of the 'what-why-how' associated with IPE, clearly outlining its factors and processes, and demonstrating how IPE is linked to important HR decisions related to organizational design, effectiveness, reward management, and competencies. By engaging in this course, participants will acquire valuable insights that can be directly applied to their own organizational settings, thereby improving their strategic approach to HR management. Furthermore, this educational opportunity encourages a collaborative learning environment where participants can share best practices and experiences, further enriching the knowledge gained during the course.

What is GRAID FRMS?

Developed by InterDynamics, GRAID FRMS functions as an instrument for evaluating fatigue risk within organizations, assessing both current and potential measures that contribute to an organization's Fatigue Risk Management System (FRMS). This tool examines twenty-four factors related to fatigue, each given varying degrees of importance, resulting in an overall rating that indicates the effectiveness of the organization’s FRMS in mitigating fatigue-related risks. Participants partake in this systematic evaluation, providing perspectives derived from factual evidence and their own experiences with fatigue-related issues. The partnership between InterDynamics and Zurich Risk Engineering has resulted in the creation of this assessment system, designed to provide senior and operational managers with a dependable framework to gauge the influence of fatigue on workplace safety. This thorough methodology not only identifies current weaknesses but also encourages a culture that prioritizes awareness and proactive handling of fatigue risks throughout the organization. Consequently, the implementation of GRAID FRMS can lead to improved decision-making and enhanced safety practices.
