What is Infoblox NIOS?

Infoblox NIOS version 8.5.3 brings powerful multi-cloud integration and automation features, improving DDI reliability and control while also enhancing the experience for service providers managing hybrid networks of varying sizes, both now and in the future. The release strengthens security through Access Control Lists (ACLs), enabling administrators to manage network and IP access along with permissions for designated zones. With the arrival of version 8.6.0, users can connect both physical and virtual appliances to establish hybrid high availability, thereby further improving reliability, redundancy, and the overall customer experience during transitions. Enhanced privacy and security, along with increased control, are achieved through the implementation of DNS over TLS (DoT) and DNS over HTTPS (DoH), in addition to refined proxy capabilities. NIOS 8.6.0 also incorporates unified health monitoring settings for the DNS Traffic Controller (DTC), which allows all members to conduct health checks and communicate their statuses efficiently. A new LBDN Query Configuration is introduced, providing thorough health check updates that contribute to greater reliability. Moreover, the inclusion of source IP hash load balancing in NIOS 8.6.0 improves connection persistence during instances of disconnection and reconnection, ensuring a seamless user experience. Collectively, these robust features underscore NIOS's position as a frontrunner in DDI solutions, adept at meeting the evolving demands of modern networks. Additionally, the ongoing enhancements demonstrate Infoblox's commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction in an increasingly complex digital landscape.
