What is LibreCAD?

LibreCAD is a free and open-source CAD application that operates on Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms. The software boasts a robust support system and comprehensive documentation, thanks to a vibrant community of users, contributors, and developers. The project originated from an attempt to incorporate CAM functionalities into the community edition of QCad for the Mechmate CNC router. Since QCad CE was built on the outdated Qt3 library, a transition to Qt4 was essential for further enhancements, which led to the temporary establishment of CADuntu. However, after a short duration, the community decided that the name was unsuitable and began discussions to select a more appropriate title, ultimately leading to the adoption of LibreCAD. The shift of the rendering engine to Qt4 required substantial effort, and initially, LibreCAD depended on the Qt3 support library. This transition was successfully finalized during the development of the 2.0.0 series, with significant contributions from the chief developer, Rallaz, marking LibreCAD's journey towards complete independence from Qt3, aside from the 1.0.0 series. This evolution not only improved the functionality of the software but also reinforced its reputation and standing within the CAD community, paving the way for future innovations and enhancements.

What is Conectodo Packing?

Conectodo Packing functions as a specialized outbound warehouse management tool designed specifically for ecommerce enterprises that handle their own shipping logistics. It efficiently consolidates orders from multiple platforms, including Mercado Libre, Tiendanube, Fenicio, ERPs, and manual sales, into one integrated queue. The system systematically organizes packing batches according to factors such as the time of day, sales channel, or delivery area, while providing pickers with guidance through their mobile devices using specific bin locations, and ensuring packing accuracy through the use of barcode scanning technology, only releasing the shipping label after verifying that the order is complete and accurate. Each packing station is equipped to print one label per order, supports multi-carrier shipping labels, tracks shipments, manages returns item-by-item, and includes features for Mercado Libre Flex, which encompass delivery zone mapping and settlements with couriers. Moreover, it supports replenishment planning for Mercado Envios Full and provides unlimited operator access across all subscription tiers. However, it is important to note that while it excels in many shipping-related functions, it does not cover areas such as goods receiving, purchase orders, or inventory management, and is not categorized as an ERP system; therefore, it lacks invoicing and accounting capabilities. Available in both Argentina and Uruguay, the service begins at a monthly rate of USD 69, and includes a 14-day trial period with no credit card requirement for activation. The user-friendly design and adaptability of Conectodo Packing make it a compelling choice for ecommerce vendors aiming to optimize their shipping operations, ultimately enhancing their overall efficiency and effectiveness in meeting customer demands.
