Lofty provides a platform for sellers to list their properties for sale, with approval or denial based on criteria like occupancy status, condition, location, and rental history. Once a property receives approval, a new LLC is established to manage the sale. The tokens associated with the LLC are then transformed into individual tokens valued at $50 each on the Algorand Blockchain. A certified property inspector will evaluate the property and compile a detailed report. Should any repairs be necessary, the seller has the option to complete them before closing or to provide a credit to the LLC. The property is then listed on the Lofty marketplace for potential buyers. Once the property is fully funded, the LLC will proceed to finalize the transaction with the Title Company, leading to the transfer of the deed to the newly formed LLC, ensuring a smooth transition of ownership.
