What is MerchantPlay?

MerchantPlay is connected inventory management software for growing retailers, ecommerce sellers and wholesalers that have outgrown spreadsheets and basic channel inventory but do not need the cost or complexity of a traditional ERP. Founded in Singapore in 2013, MerchantPlay brings purchasing, receiving, product management, multi-location inventory, transfers, stocktakes, sales, fulfilment, invoicing and returns together in one browser-based platform. Inventory traceability is built into the system. Stock Journey provides an auditable view of quantity movements, while Unit Journey tracks the lifecycle of individual serialised items from receipt through sale and return. MerchantPlay also includes a browser-based POS for in-store selling and is designed to connect physical outlets with ecommerce and accounting systems. It works with existing retail hardware, allowing businesses to improve inventory control without replacing their current equipment.

What is AMC AutoPOS?

AMC AutoPOS is an online point-of-sale system tailored for a range of small businesses, including shops, cafes, and market stalls. This innovative solution allows users to turn any device—be it a smartphone, tablet, or computer—into a fully functional register, complete with features like a camera barcode scanner, a detailed product catalog, categorization capabilities, inventory management, and notifications for low stock levels. Employees can efficiently handle both cash and card transactions, apply discounts, record tips, compute change, and generate receipts alongside daily cash-up reports. A connected multi-device network ensures that updates to products, inventory, and sales data are seamlessly synchronized between a central system and the respective registers. The application is accessible via a web browser, and users can easily add it to their mobile device's home screen for quick access. Merchants can opt to use their existing Stripe account for processing eligible card payments or can manually record transactions made through third-party card readers. Each device requires a one-time lifetime license, so there are no ongoing software subscription fees to worry about. Furthermore, activated accounts incur a 1.2% AMC fee on card transactions during cash-up, while cash sales remain exempt, and Stripe's processing fees are charged separately. This adaptability and pricing model make AMC AutoPOS an appealing option for small business proprietors seeking effective sales management solutions. In essence, it combines ease of use with comprehensive features that cater specifically to the needs of smaller enterprises.
