What is Moxie Docs?

Moxie Docs is an advanced automated platform that simplifies the creation and management of documentation for GitHub repositories. It generates searchable documentation straight from the repository's source code, making it easier to keep documentation up-to-date with the latest changes in the code. Moreover, Moxie Docs integrates effortlessly with a variety of AI development tools, such as Claude, Cursor, Gemini, and Copilot, which enhances its capabilities. Upon linking a repository, it identifies coding standards and spots any gaps in the existing documentation. The MCP server provides agents with essential tools to extract context, conventions, and documentation from the codebase, which promotes efficiency and minimizes errors in the code. The system automatically generates source-cited documentation as a pull request for review, ensuring that it remains consistent with other pull requests. Furthermore, Moxie Docs can detect changes known as 'drifts' within the codebase when new merges take place, promptly flagging any documentation that needs updating, which upholds a high level of accuracy. This proactive mechanism guarantees that your project documentation stays trustworthy and readily available for all contributors, fostering better collaboration and understanding among team members.

What is Blume?

Blume is an open-source framework centered around Markdown, aimed at facilitating the creation of production-ready documentation sites with minimal setup. Each project resides in a dedicated folder filled with Markdown files, which enables the automatic generation of navigation, and features such as search, theming, and Open Graph images are readily available, alongside advanced customization options for those who desire more control. The framework includes more than 30 components and Markdown extensions that are aware of themes, allowing users to add various elements like callouts, cards, steps, tabs, file trees, package-install tabs, code groups, Mermaid diagrams, and KaTeX math without the hassle of managing imports or JSX. Furthermore, Blume provides functionality to produce interactive references for OpenAPI and AsyncAPI, showcasing endpoints, schemas, and a live “Try it” playground, while also integrating a built-in changelog that can be sourced from Markdown content or GitHub Releases. Content can be gathered from local Markdown files, remote repositories, CMS platforms, Notion, or tailored backends, which allows for a smooth integration of diverse content into one cohesive website. It is also designed to meet the needs of both human users and AI, as every page can be accessed in its raw Markdown form, indexed through llms.txt, and queried via an integrated AI assistant to enhance user interaction. In summary, Blume not only simplifies the documentation process but also enhances accessibility and efficiency, making it a valuable tool for a wide range of users. As an added benefit, the ability to easily customize and extend functionality ensures that users can tailor their documentation sites to meet specific requirements.
